"We are very pleased with the work that was completed. Robert, is the owner of the company, was a great help to us in determining the best treatment for our cracked driveway. His recommendation of stamped concrete and his patience with us was excellent. He was a big help is getting approval from our HOA. The work was completed as promised. The team that Robert has doing the job took great pride in their work and explained in detail each step of the install. The stamped concrete was much less expensive than pavers. Saved us at least 6K. I would highly recommend that if you thinking about a new or replacement driveway that you contract Richard. He is a pro, has a great eye for creating an attractive driveway and is committed to quality and precision. Stop by if you would like to see the driveway. You will be impressed."

"I hired MF Concrete, and her crew was expedient and very efficient. It was amazing how they flowed together like worker ants, taking out my old wood deck and installing a concrete back patio. They did it all in one day. She was very polite, experienced and gave me a head full of knowledge on the cement work. I would definitely hire her again. The crew also took extra care of making sure everything was cleaned up Thank you . Tom"

"Pavers Plus (Tonya & Reid) did an absolute fantastic job on our backyard paver patio. It is a rare find to work with a company that is professional, prompt, communicates regularly, and does outstanding work. This company checks ALL those boxes. They are a pleasure to work with and take pride in their skill and reputation for high quality very seriously. They had to work with our neighborhood HOA for approval, stay within guidelines provided and they did this seamlessly. Our patio is absolutely gorgeous! Sitting right beside the golf course, everyone seeing our patio has complimented their work. People seeing our patio want Pavers Plus contact info for themselves or friends. The beauty of our patio has generated so much attention in the neighborhood we even have friends/neighbors posting selfie’s on it in fun! We love it. What a wonderful experience working with this small company. It’s like working with a trusted friend. Our family will only use them for any future outdoor projects. A rare gem indeed in our community."

"They spent time with us evaluating options of materials and scope of work. They arranged for the identification of underground utilities lines. They communicated with us each step of the way and gave us lead time to communicate with neighbors before the trucks arrived. On the day of the work the people who designed the project came with the work crew and walked through what was to be done and included us in that work preview to be sure everyone knew the procedure, time frame, and interruption of traffic. When the work was done they improved the area around the work to return it to original slope or made alterations for water flow. On the way out they rolled the sand/clay road leading to our property to return it to the pre-work condition. One of the neighbors identified a place off the main road that suffered some damage and was missed in the exit work. They came back and fixed it and rolled the road again. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We had Adam from Qualified Plumbing come out to do a repipe estimate after getting a second leak under the concrete slab. He was very professional and explained all the work during the walkaround. Afterward Amanda emailed a detailed estimate with a great price. We settled on a different plumber based on a family recommendation, but we'd have no problem using Qualified Plumbing based on our interaction. It shows why they have so many good reviews on Angie's List."

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in Worthington-springs, FL

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
