Our eight year old Whirlpool washer began showing Error Code F35 and would not function.  I called ProServ and arranged for an appointment the next day.  The serviceman arrived promptly and was quickly able to find the cause of the problem -- a faulty pressure sensor.  Unfortunately, this was not a part stocked locally, and so it had to be ordered from a distribution center.  The new sensor arrived two days later, and was installed the same day.  Voila, the washer was fixed!

Regarding pricing: the initial diagnosis was $50; the part (which cost less than a dollar to make) cost $132; the remaining repair charge was $108.  Given that the serviceman needed to make two trips, I think ProServ's labor charge was fair.  I checked online the price of the Whirlpool genuine replacement part, and that cost was simply passed along to me with a negligible, if any, mark up.

I gave ProServ the highest possible positive review because the company earned it.  ProServ was quick in its response, diagnosed and fixed the problem as rapidly as practicable, and was fair in its pricing.

"They arrived on time, and quickly solved and repaired both problems within 30 minutes. As jobs go, this one was very easy, but Justin (I think that was his name) made sure to FIX what was wrong, instead of telling me I had to have a more expensive service. We lucked out on this one, seeing as the house was built in 1984, it could very possibly have been needing a rewiring, or replacing the housing unit for the outside socket that was not working. "Door Replacement - more work than originally thought but was due to change in codes requiring fire rated door. Since an interior door was being replaced with an exterior door there was a size difference which required reframing the door jam. They walked me through the process of why and how and proceeded.
Deck repairs - more damage that orginally known as structural members were not exposed. Once exisitng stairs were remove there was considerable rot. Offered alternate solutions for handrail. Discussed material options. Provided game plan for repair. Purchased needed materials. Deck repairs completed and handrail added.
Existing electrical outlet changed out to provide plug for garage door opener that had been installed using an extension cord.
The work was more time intense but they stuck with the job until completed in the same in order to work with my travel schedule.
Great all around knowledge of the construction trades. Methodical and kept a clean job site. Kept me up to speed on each project.
