"The first time the leak was worked on, there was never a good test of the repair because the rain stopped. When it resumed raining hard, in December 2016 and January 2017, the roof started to leak again in the same location. I called the same person I had dealt with for the prior work, and received promises but no action. Everyone who looked at the roof said they saw no problem, but it continued to leak. After 6-8 weeks of inspections, delays, changed appointments, and ongoing leaking, I contacted the office manager and got fast response and good service. Ramon spent time in the attic even though the leaky area was a long way from the attic access entry point, and difficult to get to. He followed the stains from the water from its outside entry point to where it was entering our living space, and determined what needed to be done to really fix the leak. Once he did that (which they had not done during the prior work), the repair itself was quick and easy, and it has rained hard since the repair with no ongoing leakage into our living space. I don't know if we paid for work that wasn't really needed in the first attempt to fix this leak, but I was happy that the warranty on the original work covered this work, and satisfied overall. Lesson to self: call the office first!"

"Avi’s Roofing just completed a re-roofing job on our 32 year old, 2 story house. They removed the old shake roof, which was pretty much past its “expiration date” (dating back to the mid-late 1980’s) and installed a new composite Dow Corning “cool roof”. Avi and his crew did a great job. The removal of the old roof was a more challenging undertaking than it would’ve been if it hadn’t been so old. We have two special needs sons, and Avi and his crew did a great job of minimizing any disruption to our sons’ daily routines. The weather was also a challenge, and work was completed efficiently between storms. The quality and workmanship is awesome, and none of the other contractors we initially obtained estimates from could match it. We highly recommend Avi’s Roofing. It’s a small, customer-focused business, not one of those giant contracting companies (those always seem to overcharge). Avi’s prices are very competitive, he’s very accessible by phone and text when you need to contact him, and he and all his employees are very professional. Five stars!!!!!"

"Valeri is a good easy going guy that inspects the roof and gives you a good evaluation of what needs to be done. Sometimes the problem is more spread out than what you see and he got the whole water leak area on my roof taken care of with paper flashing along with repair of the rotted roof eaves. His fees are fair for the work done. The work was also done fairly quickly and he takes pictures of the progress of you want to see what was done."

"They kept breaking the tiles on the roof they installed so they had to keep ordering new tiles to complete the job. The problem was they resorted to texting on occasion until they were asked to actually call us to resolve, which is not very professional. Our biggest concern is the solar installation. There were delays because they did not install the correct breaker. Now we found out that some of the panels are facing the wrong way and need to be re-positioned. We are unable to monitor the effectiveness of the system they put in even though they told us we would be able to. They're having trouble getting access to monitoring for us so they can see what is happening with our panels but we can't. They have continually asked for payment although they have not completed the job to our satisfaction. That was the same even when the roof wasn't completed they wanted payment. I would not recommend them to others. They were great at first but their responsiveness has been lacking and the work has continually gotten sloppier. Their demands for the payment have also become more frequent."

"It didn't go well. Same situation, my husband was home, I wasn't here, but the way I understand it, is that two workers came out, they cleaned the roof off and took pictures. He emailed me later with a very high estimate to repair the roof in a much larger scale than I was thinking that it needed. It wasn't affordable at all. I don't remember exactly but it was like a couple of thousand dollars. In that instance as well, I don't think I got what I was intending to buy when I bought the service off of Angie's List.  So basically I paid $99 for two guys to clean that section of the roof off. It was misleading.  It was a busy time of year for them and they couldn't come out immediately."
