Every member of the team was exceptional - from the exceedingly polite, punctual and professional initial on-site estimator to the incredibly responsive back office team who helped me complete my order (and was so patient throughout my many changes) and finally the respectful, organized and hard-working installation team, who completed a very difficult project within two days, working through a late afternoon downpour to finish the job on time. They even came back weeks later to repair a gate-latch at no cost. I sought 4 bids for this project, including from a well-known company where I was a repeat customer, where the other contractors were either no-shows, unprofessional or demanding of expensive prep requirements before considering the project. "It went very well. Bill replied quickly to my inquiry, and had a written estimate to me the same night that he came to the house to review the work I needed to have done. He was communicative throughout the entire process, helpful with design questions, and up front about all costs. Knowing I had dogs, Bill suggested we use a newer kind of sand that was especially durable. When it more than doubled the time they had to spend putting it in, the team worked past dark without complaint. They reseeded the yard where their equipment had left tracks and cleaned up after themselves nightly. Bill and his team were friendly but still very professional. Bill came out again the day after everything was installed to make sure I was still happy and the sand was curing properly. The patio is so gorgeous I sometimes just stare at it. Highly recommend Bill and his team."

"We Love our deck!! It was custom built by Horizon with flower stands, custom lattice and benches. They also staining decks and gave me good advice on what product to use to finish it since we wanted to do it our self. He also build and installed wooden wide custom shelfs in our walk-in closet. He worked fast and when he saw that he was ahead of schedule adjusted my cost downward something he did not have to do.. "We have used Darrell on several projects now and have been very satisfied with the quality of his work, and find he is very easy to work with.  He draws on many years of experience building and repairing homes, and has a very good understanding of how to work on an older house like ours (1901).  He is also very versatile, and seems to be able to handle almost any project we throw at him.  Best of all, he knows his limitations and makes recommendations for specialists (like an electrician and a drywall guy) to bring in when he feels they can do a better / faster job. <br /> <br />"
