If you hire him, I would suggest getting everything in writing up front including when the job will be completed. This is especially important for any job that can't be completed in a single day. "The weather played a huge part in our project with the cold and rain. They couldn't come out Saturday due to the continuous rain They took out the deck on Friday and installed a few posts for the framing of the deck. They couldn't come out Saturday due to the continuous rain. On Monday once the guys got going they worked fairly fast and were very thorough in the supports of the deck. I had to have the deck built around our hot tub so that played a huge part of the supports and framing around a couple trap doors I needed placed. Of course issues came up as the deck was being built, but the workers talked to me about it and we came to a solution as how to keep the project moving and in budget. We had benches built and a couple tables at the ends of the benches. Overall we couldn't be more satisfied with the deck and when it finally gets warm and stays warm we will be able to enjoy it more. The workers were very professional and cleaned up all the mess when they were done. <br />"
