"I had a drywall disaster one Saturday night. I thought the drywall on the affected wall would need to be replaced. As a matter of fact I was told that much by a very knowledgeable person. So I went to angie’s list with the intention to find a drywall installer. MKD was one of the providers i selected. I did that at about 8 pm on that Saturday night. I then turned on my TV to watch a movie not expecting anything till at least Monday morning. In about 3 minutes I got contacted by MKD and after discussing my options, I was happy to learn that all was not lost and that they could do a miracle saving me from installing new drywall - a 2k endeavor. And guess what, they could do it Sunday morning! Wow. Mario showed up exactly on time. He was very patient and friendly throughout the whole proce . He worked for about 7 hours and did an AMAZING job. I also asked him to touch an area in the kitchen that had bothered me and my wife for months. He took care of that too. We were a very happy family that night indeed. Thank you, Mario!! I’m going to use MKD for all my painting and deywall needs!"

"I can't rate Aurora Remodeling high enough. They took out damaged drywall from two rooms that was caused by seasonal shifting in my home's structure, installed new insulation, replaced the drywall with expansion joints, and painted the three walls that had been damaged. They took great care to contain the dust from sanding the drywall joint compound and did a thorough cleanup. They arrived on time, kept me informed, and did what they said they were going to do in the time estimated to complete the project. Superb customer relations...and they did all that at a cost less than others estimated that it would cost. It's good to know that there are still companies out there that take pride in their work and make positive customer relations and satisfaction core values."

"I can't stress those reading this enough to never use Corwin for any type of work. My experience from them the past few weeks has been nothing short of the worst customer service of any sort I have ever experience. They were subcontracted by my contractor to do the framing and drywall for a basement job. The first 3 weeks and basically 90% of the work had been ok. The last 4 weeks have been nothing short of miserable. There was one area or ceiling left to finish which I paid the day they were allegedly done. That was a terrible move on my part because they were not done at all and left the ceiling an unfinished mess. This isn't even getting into the $6000 in overages they charged me for work that was agreed upon before the job even started. Yes, there was some additional work that was requested as the job progressed. But when I saw the newly updated quote with an additional $6k, I was shocked. But after some discussion and a few hundred dollars knocked off, I still paid them their balance only to be sitting here weeks later with an unfinished portion of ceiling and a newly noticed not plum window opening that Corwin tried to say they were not at fault then tried to blame their laborers. Now fast forward to late last week when I spoke to the owner who agreed to pay me back a sum of money that we agreed upon due to the issues at hand. I then get an email telling me their lawyer will reach out to me. What an absolute joke of a company and I will gladly take this to court. DO NOT USE CORWIN. "I purchased a newly constructed home in late 2019. This company installed the cedar shake roof for this house. We were unaware of any roof problem until we decided to change our home insurance carrier. The new insurance carrier sent a field rep out and checked on the home's exterior. The report came back and stated "lots of lifting and curling" of the cedar shakes. I contacted the company; they quickly sent out a consultant to check on the problem, which I later found out was the new work order, not for the warrant. The consultant indicated nothing was wrong with their installation and mentioned the materials were donated to the house of the builder, implying likely problems with the quality of the cedar shakes. He got me a quote of $ 1.5-1.7K to fix the problem. Remember this house/roof is only 4 years old; I learned the warrant of the lowest grade of cedar shakes is 15-20 years. I decided to get a second and third opinion about the roof problem. The consensus from these two roofers was that "there are exposed nails, there are shakes not nailed to the roof, there are three areas with missing cedar shakes". They even found the missing shakes on the ground around my house. Long story short, there are problems with the quality and craftsmanship of the installation for the minimum. I reached back to the company with the inspection conclusions, but I have never heard back from the company. Thus, be extra careful with this company when you consider your roofing repair/replacement."

"This was an absolutely terrible, low quality job. I had to hire a person to straighten framing, reinstall missing areas, plus, even though I had given the contractor plans beforehand with the understanding it would be installed according to plan, he charged extra for items thatwere on the architect's plans. They also installed three windows that were done so badly I had to remove them and reinstall. They were set at different levels, crooked, leaked water. Just a really, really low quality, disappointing experience that cost a lot and had to be redone by a professional."
