The crews arrived promptly on the days they were scheduled to come, worked very hard throughout the day, and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. They worked for two solid days. "Spears Tree Service is fantastic! They spent 2 days with us taking down three 70-100 foot tall trees that needed to be removed. We then added on another tree and our neighbors added one on as well after seeing their great work. Many companies wouldn’t do the job because trees were too big and close to house and swing set that we didn’t want moved. Spears has the equipment and expertise to do it. They brought in a crane to do the large trees which allowed us to keep the surrounding trees, swing set, and not do any damage to landscaping. And their clean up was fantastic. Us and our whole neighborhood were fascinated watching them work. Bringing large pieces of tree from our backyard, on a crane to our front yard, and lower into street. They are such wonderful, talented professionals. It was a pleasure to do business with the entire crew. Their work and clean up were AMAZING!!!"

"So the large troop of workers did exactly what they advertised.  The Maple tree in my back yard was quite large and had been damaged in a past ice storm.  That damage made the tree lean in a precarious manner that I wasn't comfortable cutting down.  That tree was apparently a piece of cake.  The very large Pin Oak trees were also broken in the previous storm and large enough to possibly hit my home.  The trees were dropped and didn't even come close to my house.  The other issue with the two oaks was they were intermixed in a substantial garden and were very close to a very mature Japanese Maple, Tri-color Beech, two Blue Spruces and the other parts of my garden ? they hit NOTHING.  Perfect drop.  Then a couple of their workers made it up the other trees and trimmed out all the broken, dead and dangerous branches out of the trees.  The whole job was 2 hours and 20 minutes, I timed it.  I have done this work on my own many times (property is 4 acres) when its safe to do it.  It would have taken me days to get all of this done.  Again I couldn't drop 2 out of the 3 trees due to safety issues.  They chipped the branches and left the logs for my fireplaces.  The team of men then proceeded to rake up the back, front, and trimmed up areas as well as my driveway (which is not short).  Every single man there was very kind, professional and polite.  They were very concerned that I was happy with the job from start to finish.  They not once took a break or asked me for a thing which would have been understandable since it was literally 3 degrees and about 10 below with the wind chill.  Did I mention they gave me the option of keeping the chips for my gardens or LMI hauling them away? Sounds silly to some, I did opt to have them hauled off.  However I could have kept them for spring use.  It was a thoughtful offer and had it not been the dead middle of winter I would have kept the chips.  Trees were about 3 stories for the maple 4-5 stories tall for the oaks, all very mature trees.  Couldn't be happier.

"They cut down and removed the large tree that fell on our garage. They were so careful and so quick to respond that there was no damage to our garage. And they hauled away the fallen tree! The price was also very reasonable. Will definitely use again."
