"Thank you , Brian Taylor for you excellent service Brian walked in like a BOSS!!! My hot water heater had been out for over a week. He said I can replace it today, He went to the hardware store brought back a quality water heater, he took out the old and installed the new. He left no mess behind including hauling away the old heater, I highly recommend this very respectful hard working man. Thank you Rescue Rooter for sending Brian."

"It went smoothly exactly as Paul described the job. His crew installed a sump pump and ensured in drained to the curb. The crew replaced the drain run to the curb and dug around the existing bushes. The crew also connected the the roof downspout to the run to the curb. The crew installed a perforated pipe in a trench which created a floating basement floor on 3 sides of the basement. (the 4th wall was not necessary since was an interior wall.) They concreted over the pipe with a gap to the wall. they repaired and painted the basement walls."

"The owner, Todd, advised me that I did not need any work done at this time. He carefully inspected my basement walls, floors, and sump pump. He said if the situation changed, he could help us. His cost would be considerably less than other estimates we received. Todd is very personable, and experienced. Another company estimated $24K."

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"Very prompt and gave detailed information about work that was going to be performed. A salesman was let go so I had to make several calls before I found his replacement to get the second part of my job completed. They left a pretty big mess at my home as well as denting my water heater. They did a good job but I think someone should follow up to make sure the customer is satisfied and all of the work was performed correctly."

"Mr. Skaggs suggested using the jet and camera to locate pipe and problem... although a minimal extra fee  money well spent.. pipe and problem not even close to where it was believed to be... this suggestion by him saved me well over 2 grand... <br />  dug up old clay sewer line and replaced it with new pvc .. he also suggested 2 cleanouts for any situation that might come up in future(great idea)  I live in a hilly wooded area with lots of tree's and roots.  Backfilled the dug up section and cleaned up area..  Mr Skaggs was very professional and knowlegable... prompt and on time... price was well below others checked some of that due to his suggestion of using camera...  no others even mentioned this and just wanted to start digging where we thought it might be... Job Well Done! <br />"

"Estimate went great.  One fellow came out to give the estimate, looked over the basement, and basically told me that he could see nothing wrong.  He said that there were signs of repair from the past, but nothing new had developed over the last 15 years.  He went out of his way to make sure that his assessment was correct and had one of his superiors come by a couple days later.  I got an honest opinion from these guys and they told me that they would not do any repair.  They could've raked me over the coals and told me I needed to spend on this but they didn't."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Zanesville, OH

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
