"When I decided to install a residential irrigation system I went online to search for an installer based upon reviews. I then asked for quotes. Tart's came onsite and carefully considered my needs and the layout (nearly an acre) of my yard. I received the quote that same day broken out the way I requested. Over the next week I had a few clarifying questions that were answered swiftly and professionally. Based on comparison with a bid and interaction with another installer I selected Tart's. Work began within days and was completed quickly. While there is no way to install an irrigation system without disturbing the lawn I was surprised at how well my yard looked when they were done. And during the install I asked for some additional work that was completed at a very reasonable additional cost. I would recommend Tart's without hesitation."

"They stated they fertilized the lawn, billed me and nobody showed up when I was invoiced. The company admitted there mistake but continued to have poor lawn and weed control service. I discontinued service, after I paid all prior invoices in full (in addition on being on auto-draft), they still sent more invoices but did not service my lawn. . "TLDR: If you are a homeowner in Raleigh, look elsewhere for a lawn care company. Awful service, awful communication. I chose Eastern Turf in 2021, in the beginning they did a good job of caring for my zoysia in front and fescue in back. The service associate would knock and let me know they are there and also give me information on what they were doing. Starting in 2022 the service went downhill. They would come out, never knock on the door (I work from home so always here) and would only treat the front part of my lawn (ignoring the side and back yard). Weeds have become greater than before I started to use them. About a month ago a new route manager informed me that the previous service provider missed alot. Nothing got better with the new route manager. Even after multiple calls and emails i did not receive any service calls even though the "Happier" plan included them."

"In October of 2024 Shane came out to give me a quote for yard clean up. After several calls by me, I finally got a start date. Shane called me and said they could start a day early and I was fine with that but they showed up at 5:30pm. I was told they would start at noon. The next day (actual start date) they showed up at 7:30pm and were there for a half hour and left because getting dark. I was told they would be there the next day at 9am. At 10:30am I called Shane asking where the crew was. He actually argued with me telling me they were there. So apparently I was blind. They showed up after 11am and they finished while I was out. Only half the job was done. I emailed all photos of areas not done with pic of contract for those areas quoted. In no way did Shane reach out to see if everything was done. I had to hire another company to finish what they did not do. When I got the bill, I reached out to Shane and said we need to revisit this bill because not everything done. He offered a $150 discount (via Sara's email) which was laughable and said "if ok we will send a new invoice". I sent an email back saying $150 is not acceptable and got no response. No response for 5 months! I got an email 5 months later saying my bill was delinquent but they cut the bill in half. I never received new invoice that showed bill was cut in half till 5 months after my last contact with them. They are not trustworthy and play games. If I could give a zero, I would."

"If I could give them zero stars, I would. Bruce's crew is the most unprofessional group of people I've ever dealt with. They lie, do sloppy work, and then have the audacity to yell at me and call me names when I try to talk to them about it. They accused me and others of yelling at their crew members, but that's not true. I have everything recorded, and I'm going to share it with the HOA and other communities in the area so everyone knows what they're like. I suggest that if anyone looks for a company to do lawn care... look elsewhere."
