"This was my second project with HEXAGON CONSTRUCTION and by far the largest and most complex. (Replacing an old, clay tile roof on a three story house is no job for a rookie.) HEXAGON’s owner, Eli Vatkin, is what everyone should be looking for in a contractor. He’s knowledgeable, reasonably priced, trustworthy, responds promptly to any concerns that you have during the project, keeps you apprised of its progress, finishes on time, and generally aims to please. His contracts were straightforward and “by the book.” On top of that, he’s a genuinely nice guy. Rarely will you find all these qualities in a contractor—and I’ve been around long enough to know. "

"We spoke with a few contractors to determine the best fit for our needed repairs. Aaron M. from Modern Roofing came & fully inspected the damages inside and out. He was able to determine that our roof, designed in 1997, had a flaw in the flashing and tile placement . We discussed the scope of work needed to fix the flaws properly. Aaron was so nice, kind, knowledgeable, articulate, and compassionate that he was able to completely put our minds and anxiety (caused by others) at ease so adequately that the repairs started the next day. Aaron was superb in his communication with us and overseeing the repairs. His employees were very courteous as well as highly skilled in their trade. Aaron also implemented a higher level of safety due to our disabilities & visiting grandchildren. The work performed on our house completed to a very high standard. Aaron was an absolute pleasure to work and we look forward to working with him and Modern Roofing in the future. "

"I was tasked with some repairs on my parents house that had been unoccupied for 16 years. The roof had a leak (with severe drywall damage inside), the gutters had come down in places and there was a termite problem. I met with numerous contractors and exterminators and finally (after advising parents) chose Nikki with Dr Roof for the replacement of the under-layment and broken tile for the Tile roof (house in Stevenson Ranch CA). Nikki is so professional and sent pictures and kept me informed every step of the demolition and replacement process. Since I was at the residence, I didn't even really need that because I watched over much of the work, but still she went "above the call". Then as other projects were needed, she had contacts for extermination, facia replacement and painting, eve trough replacement and interior house work. I went ahead and contacted other contractors and vendors for those services, but in every case Nikki's contacts were better (or at least similarly) priced. And I am glad I went with her suggested repair people - they too were all very professional (and in no way associated with her, she just recommends them as she's been in the business 27 years and knows reputable, quality contractors). And in every case the other people I had on various projects sang Nikki's praises. She also coordinated the timing for all these contractors to do their work (obviously some things like facia have to be replaced and painted before Eve troughs installed, etc.) Dr Roof overall did a great job. They kept the place neat and I thought their underlayment was the best quality of any of the contractors I met with ( and I got other quotes from companies / individuals). There is still more work to do on the yard and in this house (projects for next year after bank account recovers from these projects - ha! ha!) Nikki will be my first call when looking for additional work on this house for my parents."

"Premiere was absolutely amazing! Carlos did two projects for us - coating our house roof with silicone and coating our office building with silicone. He was so thoughtful and did such a careful job. The pipes coming out of the roof often develop cracks over the years so they double-coated them to make sure they were solid. One of the things my wife is particular about is cleanup after the job. They came in afterwards and pressure washed our deck and cleaned the pool to remove any debris so everything was spotless. Part of the quote is to come in once a year for three years and inspect the roof so we are confident everything will remain in good shape. AND they were very reasonable! I can't recommend Carlos and his crew more highly."
