"The entire process went smoothly. The reservation went quickly, once we paid an extra $200 to reduce the pickup window to 3 days. The pickup and drop off process also went well. The car was returned in the same condition we left it. We would recommend using United Freight."

"This is where the rubber met the road. The cabinet installer made certain recommendations to our sales rep based on his survey, measurements and experience. Unfortunately, some of his recommendations weren't acted upon, and we ended up with two glitches. One required a new cabinet to be ordered which would fit better than what had been ordered originally. The installer was super - we didn't even have to get involved, and he ordered a different cabinet even before talking to us (the fit was really awkward, and the installer knew we wouldn't be happy, so he bit the bullet). Once the new cabinet arrived the installer came back to our home and hung it, then we ran into glitch number two . . . <br /> <br /> The cabinets were supposed to go all the way to the ceiling, but there remained about a two inch gap between the top of the cabinet and the ceiling. It only took a few calls, and between the installer and Lowe's, more parts were ordered. Once again, when the parts arrived, the installer made a third trip to our house and finished up. <br /> <br /> Let me make one point clear - the two issues we ran into are not uncommon problems with renovations, but Lowe's and the installer handled them to our 100% satisfaction. I should add that we paid nothing extra for the replacement cabinet and trim, even though it was additional cost for Lowe's. Also, for an installer to make three trips instead of one is money out of his pocket. Yet neither Lowe's nor the installer ever fussed about this point. The installer was cheerful, pleasant, professional and very detail oriented - just what you need to install cabinets, trust me. <br /> <br /> The countertops were installed without issue. My only surprise was how much is involved with installing countertops. I thought it was plop them down, secure them, and you're done. Take my word for it, there's a lot to it, and you don't want to DIY unless you really know what you're doing and have the right equipment. <br /> <br /> Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Lowe's for kitchen cabinets and countertops."

"The experience was very good overall. Once we contacted Mr. Carter, he got back to us and provided an estimate. He came out to do the work when he said he would and completed the installation in just over an hour. After the install was complete, he made sure we were happy with the work. The final cost was equal to Mr. Carter's estimate. We are very pleased with the results and our son looks forward to enjoying the fan as the weather warms up."

"In a word, "Great"! From quote to finish in less than 10 days. Very quick, very neat and very professional. From sales, workers and supervisors, everyone was superb. Hurricanes notwithstanding, I will probably never need another roof replacement, but if I do, I plan on calling RPI."

"Avery and Susan came to our house and repaired a severe crack and repainted our kitchen ceiling. You would never know there was such a severe crack. Also replaced the backdoor and the storm door. Beautiful job. They also made some repairs along the way. This included removing and old stove and repairing the electrical outlet and repairing a dutch door that was not installed correctly. Very good work."

"It went great. Harry is responsive, efficient, and we think reasonably priced. He did exactly what we needed him to do, and it looked great. <br /> We also appreciated that he called the other companies he was referring us to and gave them our contact information, and we then heard from them before we could even call ourselves. <br /> We are a military family and have moved away, but still own our home in Augusta and even used Harry after we moved to fix a couple of minor plumbing issues that we were unable to resolve on our own before our new tenants moved in. We trust him and would use him again. <br />"

"<p>After reviewing the experiences of others with Tallent Desk & Porches on Angie's List, I decided to contact them to re-do the enclosure on my house. On the first visit Mr. Tallent came with his daughter Jessica, they were on time and after a short introduction, we went to the enclosure area. Initially, I wanted a new enclosure built and he clearly explained the process and provided some options. In a short time, I received an estimate and discussed when he could to start the job. I explained him that I was going on extended vacations and I would contact him upon my return.</p> <p>A few months after that, my wife, and I decided to sell the house and instead wanted to repair the enclosure without modifications. I contacted Jessica and arranged for another visit with Mr. Talent, to discuss the repairs needed. He explained that his crew would clean and treat the wood, re-paint, and install a new screen. After receiving a new estimate, we agreed scheduled the start day for a few weeks later.</p> <p>On their first visit, his crew clear, sprayed watch and detailed the wood structure. After waiting the needed days for the wood to dry, another crew came and painted the structure. The third crew came and installed the screen; they completed in a reasonable time. </p> <p>After a few weeks later, I noticed a few details were not completely to our satisfaction. I did contact Jessica and schedule a visit with Mr. Tallent. They came and after showing the details, he stated that his crew would come and take care of it and within a week, they corrected the details to my satisfaction.</p> <br />"

"The first day install of the walk in door was ok except the door was hinged to open out in the wrong direction. The build of the barn style bay door did not go well and essentially 3 hours after my brother suggested how to attach the plywood on the outside they did so and stopped for the day. When I complained as I considered the men not able to do the job the boss Randy came out on Monday with the same 2 men and claimed that we didn't specify how the door should open and stated that there would be no extra charge to do the build right. We (my brother and I) explained "Old School" side hinged bay doors were built out of wood and not just a metal frame with plywood put only on the outside as they thought. The workmen then went to work building the door as we asked with interior and exterior casing over the metal frame. The owner Randy Tudor had claimed when he was there that he didn't have his notes with so could not say what the price was. When the job was complete he failed to come to get payment and sent a text message indicating the total was 1625.00 for the job. Today, Wednesday after texting back and forth a couple of times he showed up and provided a receipt for the agreed sum of 1200.00 for the job and accepted payment stating he wasn't going to argue the price."
