Despite the fact that the ground was saturated, they were able to dig down, find the leak, repair it, and then did a great job putting back all the mud and grass so that it is level. "Per village code, a water heater must have solid gas pipe going into it. Mine had flexible pipe. Precision Plumbing sent Dan Collins to my home to perform the gas pipe repair. It looks good. While he was here, I asked him to replace the copper flexible pipe water lines to the water heater. My budget allowed for the gas line repair. Although the additional copper pipe repair exceeded my budget, I do feel that I got my money's worth. My water pressure has increased significantly. Good job Dan!"

"I had a slow leak/dripping valve and the main shutoff valve was original and in need of replacement as it was very old and I was afraid of breaking off the handle or it failing when needed. There was also a corroded section of galvanized pipe coming directly out of the old valve so I was worried about it potentially failing at an especially inconvenient time and being unprepared for future emergencies.
Charlie and his assistant showed up as scheduled for their appointment and completed the replacement with an improved configuration. 
Charlie offered some extra observations and pieces of information and advice not all directly related to the job and answered all my questions about the plumbing work.

"Scott and crew were very professional & friendly. They showed up to work a planned half day to find the bad pipe. After not locating the pipe in the location we had hoped, Scott & crew waited while my husband and helper removed cabinets so they could continue the job on past the agreed upon time, working well in to the evening to find, diagnose and replace the bad pipe. Scott offered us SEVERAL options to fix our issue (which wasn't an entirely easy fix), allowing us to decide which route we wanted to take. Every step of the way, Scott asked BEFORE doing any work. Scott provided a price range before the job began, so we had a general idea of the scope of work. At the end of the day, the work came back on the high end of the estimate, to be expected with the scope of the job and the hours he and his crew spent at our house. Scott also offered to write a Plumbers Report for our insurance in hopes some of the work could be covered, even after an initial denial. I'm not sure if he has done this yet, but it was nice of him to offer to help us recoup some of the money based on the extensive work he and his crew had to to do get our drain working again. Homeowners insurance does not cover broken or deteriorated pipes under your concrete slab if there is no visible damage ABOVE the floor. Unfortunately, the damage left behind after digging and replacing plumbing is extremely expensive, so beware if you're on a slab and have plumbing issues due to age & deterioration. We appreciate Scott's friendly professionalism, quick response to calls & ALWAYS asking before moving on to the next step, walking us through the entire process. Would highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for plumbing needs. We hope to have Scott back to tackle our bathroom remodel at a later date.
