Customers say: Quality work

"Lester didn’t give me the highest or lowest estimate. What he gave me was a very thorough walkthrough of what needed to be done and how he would accomplish it. He was well organized and has great communication skills. I was very pleased to do business with him and hope I can hire him for more work in the future."

"I cannot say enough good things about Benito. I initially hired him to build a retaining wall to help solve the problem of standing water in my yard. After I got the estimate Benito came out again and said he didn’t think retaining wall would solve problem. After 2 more visits he said he thought the best way to solve problem was to install a French drain and put in a concrete patio. Benito did this while staying as close to my budget as materials would allow. I feel that Benito went above and beyond to solve my problem. French drain has helped tremendously and I no longer have a saturated area in my yard. I would recommend Benito as I think he is a very helpful, honest and genuine person."

"Awesome! So far so good. While we haven't had significant rain to determine if the drain that was installed handles the water running down the driveway, what I have observed works well. With the tree removal - glad i had the crepe myrtle removed and pavers put down in its place. Unknown to me or to Jonathan, electric wiring was run underground under one of the bushes that was removed. Of course, the wire was near the ground surface and tangled in the roots, and was accidentally cut when the bush was removed. Jonathan called his electrician. After consulting with me and a thorough evaluation of my options, the wiring was disconnected and the non-functioning (it didn't work before the wire was cut) light pole was removed. His guys were professional and pleasant. Jonathan provides his input, and guides, and allows the homeowner to make the final decision."

"We have been fortunate to work with Advance Landscaping since we moved to the area last summer. Rick Knowles and his crew have handled many tasks for us, from lawn seeding and fertilizing, to tree planting and trimming as well as other landscaping tasks. Their work has always been timely, carefully performed, and reasonably priced (even though our house is a long drive from’s Rick’s base of operations.) Recently Rick performed a more substantial job for us. He and his guys designed and built over two hundred feet of beautiful block retaining walls along the front of our property. We have never been through a project like this before, and Rick made it a pleasure. First he showed us on site his suggestions for the general design of the walls. Then he met us at his supplier’s facility so that we could see the materials choices. This was much better than trying to choose the blocks from a catalog or photographs. From the moment Rick began preparing the foundations, we could tell he was enthusiastic about quality and craftsmanship. Over the following couple of weeks he had to deal with ten inches of snow, and several more inches of rain, but the project progressed smoothly. After installing over 30 tons of blocks, cutting and shaping countless blocks, and installing wiring and accent lighting, the walls were complete. But the job was not done. Rick’s crew planted dozens of plants, and thoroughly cleaned up the entire front yard. Now that the walls are completed, several neighbors have driven by to see the finished product, and we have received many compliments. Working with Rick on this project was like working with the landscaper on the This Old House television show. He is a great guy, and we look forward to having him and his crew help us with more projects in the future."

"So smooth! We loved the crew, (Roger and Leo) and the estimator was so kind and honest (Cal) and I just wanted to say the price was great, the knowledge and their professionalism was perfect. My neighbor referred us to them, after 3 estimates, we had to go with Mr. Pavers and we are so glad we did. The before and after pics are wonderful but the smile on my mom's face and how happy she is, has no words. We thank you Mr. Pavers for your loyalty and your hard work. Happy customer!! I highly recommend!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Asheboro, NC

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
