"Our roof was damaged by a raccoon which caused leaks inside the house when it rained. Called Capps Roofing because I was already familiar with their work. Mark Capps made appointment for estimate. Once all the paperwork was done and accepted, it was about a month before they started the job. This time frame was expected and acceptable. The job included taking off old roof, replacing wood that was damaged by mold or water; took off the chimney that was damaged by raccoon; put down new metal roof and replaced gutters, and I'm sure more than I can remember. Capps workers worked hard and they tried to keep yard picked up from debris. Once the job was completed, they had everything picked up. The cost was reasonable for the amount of work included. Capps Roofing has been in business for a number of years. Everyone was courteous and answered all questions. I highly recommend Capps Roofing for your roofing needs. I love my metal roof."

"After careful consideration by qualifying 4 roofing companies and 2 expert witnesses, our association chose Aastro Roofing as our roofing contractor to replace the roof on our clubhouse and for all 23 building and 100 units just under $2MM including demo of gutters, sheathing, facia, replace domed ABS skylights with E5 triple pane glass low profile, Landmark Pro shingles, commercial sized gutters, repairing stucco and painting. "I had a few cracked roof tiles that were bothering me. I was procrastinating about calling J&K or any other roofing company because I thought maybe the job wasn't big enough. Then last week during that torrential rainfall we had I noticed a leak coming from the shower stall light.  <br />  I looked on Angie's list for some roofers to get a quote. Then I remembered my brother used J&K to put up a new roof for him several months ago. My brother said he was extremely happy with them and that I should call Fred (owner's son). This was a Wednesday night around 5:45pm. I called and left a message for Fred on his cell. <br /> I figured I wouldn't hear back from Fred or anyone for a few days. About 10 minutes later Fred called. I explained what the issue was and that my brother referred him. Fred said my brother had called him a few weeks ago saying I might be calling. I told Fred I procrastinated because I wasn't sure if coming out to fix several cracked tiles was a big enough job. Fred advised it was no problem. <br /> The next day (Thursday) Sammy came out and after inspecting the roof determined the leak was coming from the sky light. Sammy was a rather nice southern speaking gentleman, and stated he would have his guys out to my home on Saturday. Sammy quoted me $1,850 for the job. I forgot to tell Fred I was a Angie member, and when I told Sammy, he said just tell the guys that come out Saturday to take the 10% off the bill. <br /> Saturday morning at 8am J&K was knocking on my door. 3 hours later my roof was repaired. I told the workers what Sammy had said and they advised to go ahead and take 10% off the bill. <br /> Now it hasn't rained since so I'll wait to see how the repair holds up, but I'm confident it will be fine. I was very pleased with Fred, Sammy and the two gentleman that worked on my roof. I couldn't believe they got back to me so quickly. I was impressed. <br /> Thanks Fred! I will definitely use your company again, as well as refer anyone with a roofing issue. <br />"
