He got back to me in a couple of hrs when going through Angie.very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have. I live in a mobile home and some of the fittings I had to end up having someone that knew what they were doing to come in and fix the piping since it’s not like a normal house. I had to have him replace a water valves underneath the sink that was leaking while he was here. I had him do the sinks in both bathrooms. It only took him a little bit over an hour to fix the job. I will definitely hire him again."

The job was delayed because of other issues and Ireland was very understnding, and willing to work with me, I am very happy with the entire project. Love the look of my new roof. "I felt like Gary abandoned my projects. I hired and paid for him to finish our basement/attic. I also had a few other projects like a fireplace remodel, kitchen tiling, and doorframe build that I needed. He finished the basement and quoted me for the others but said he would have to go to another project and come back after Christmas, then New Years, then he didn’t know. I have been calling, texting, and always get a runaround and a bunch of excuses. Miguel, his assistant, was great and always went above and beyond and provided great customer service. With Gary, it felt like pulling teeth to get my projects finished. He even left my finished attic with no door on the crawl space. My contract said “finish trim work in attic” and he claimed he didn’t know there was a crawl space door there when he quoted me so I’d have to pay someone else to do it. Honestly, I’m pretty sure that was an excuse to just be done with my project and on to a bigger dollar project he had lined up. I think he’s blowing me off now because he’s chasing higher paying jobs instead. Disappointing when someone doesn’t keep their word, so be wary of that. If you have a bigger dollar job, you’ll be fine until it gets to the end and he’s ready to move on and leave loose ends on your project. I wanted to give him a chance to redeem himself, but he doesn’t seem interested."

"Phil and his crew came on time, placed dropcloths all the way from the front door to the work areas, and set right to work. They completed framing and drywall in one day, and came for a second half-day for finish work and painting. Everything looks as if it came with the house. Their workmanship and professionalism are outstanding. <br /> Everything that I routinely ask workers to do -- dropcloths, leaving space for the mail truck, securing cigarette butts -- they already had covered. When they were ready to use a nail gun, one worker came into the room and told us it would be noisy. When cleaning up after sawing wood, another worker swept our entire garage, leaves and all. <br /> I definitely recommend Phil Bartell and his crew for any similar work. <br /> And I thank previous reviewers -- I found Phil on Angie's List! <br />"
