"I am very happy with my overall experience and metal roof installation from Shield Exteriors. The roofing materials were delivered around 6 am and the installers were on-site and ready to begin install at 8 am. Exactly as I had been told from the sales rep. I had to work that day and by the time I got off my roof was installed. They did a great job cleaning up after as well. The evening after my roof was installed, we experienced a several days of very heavy rain. My new roof has not leaked at all and looks great! Very happy with my investment!"

"We received several quotes from roofing companies but Steve really sold us on Fredericksburg Builders. Our neighbors had also used them and were very happy with them. One thing that made them stand out was that we wanted new gutters and they were able to get them in many different colors, vs. a competitor that could only get them in white or brown, where we definitely needed a taupe or beige color. I appreciated that Steve told us upfront that our roof wouldn't show as 3-dimensional as our neighbors because of our pitch being alot lower, so I wasn't surprised at the end. We had a couple little hiccups, but Steve and his crew were ready to take care of them, quickly and professionally. "Absolutely professional from start to finish. The owner showed up to bid the job on time, and well dressed in a J.Alexander Polo. He was extremely educational w/ what I was gettting into, so their were no suprises if they were to get the job. The price was competitive and felt most comfortable w/ them--do to the time & knowledge he shared w/ me when giving the estimate. They didn't let me down and actually only exceeded my expectations when doing the roof. They had an eight man crew and everyone seemed to know their job responsibility. They had a guy running the ground the whole time-cleaning up and running a magnet for loose nails. They said they had two roofs to do that day. I thought they were crazy, even though I had a small roof (22.5 square). By 11am they had all the shingles removed, nails pounded down and the roof felted. Come to find out the owners are identical twin brothers who were both on the roof working along w/ the crew. The crew split up after the roof was felted, one brother stayed w/ three others to lay the shingles while the other group went to start the next roof. I was just hoping they got my roof done in a day like they said, It wouldn't suprise me one bit if they got both roofs done like they wanted to.
