"SG&A's owner (Mike) bid the work.  We ended up selecting his firm primarily due to their experience and design capability (they were able to "show" us what the gate design would look like with a simulated "picture" prior to any work being performed).  SG&A fabricated the gate based upon the agreed design.  We also had Mike orchestrate all the rural King County permits, cable/power line markings, electrical contractors, and trench digging (for electrical conduit supply) to the electrical supply junction.  Duke and David were his primary employees and appeared to be diligent in their work. <br> <br>The completed gate was installed late April (about a 3 month process) and is working well.  They include a one year maintenance plan and will be out in six months for a service call to ensure all parts, components, and operational aspects are in strong working order. <br> <br>While SG&A was the most expensive bid, I definitely believe we got a high quality gate that will last for many years.  We strongly recommend SG&A for your security gate needs."

"The first visit for the job estimate was at the time scheduled and completed quickly. I described the dimensions and location of the gate, etc. After the initial visit I received the bid in a couple of days and I was happy with the price. The first day of the job the crew set the fence posts. After a couple days (for setting up the concrete) the crew returned to begin construction of the fence. It was basically done in two days and was exactly what I had asked for. The crew was friendly and quite effective workers. I was still living in my old house which was about 4 hours away, this was not a problem. They were able to take notes over the phone and when they went out to the house they were able to figure out what I needed. The quote actually came about 3 dqays later than what I was told on the phone, but this was right around Christmas so I completely understand that. They Gave me a bid of $9800.00. They were the highest bid of the 6 I got. They also said that the digging would be considered HARD DIG, which attributed to the high price. I decieded to go with another company, and it turned out that NONE of the digging was considered HARD. <br />"

"We had great contact from Zepp Construction from the get go. All of the crew were exceptionally polite and careful. They were there on time and worked continuously. Tearing off the old roof took a shorter time than originally anticipated since it was so very old. Which was good because the previously unseen lumber damage was greater than what we could see from the walk around. Taylor made sure that we knew this could be the case when he gave us his bid and we were anticipating it.  The bit of extra free time also allowed us to add another repair to the barn that we did not ask for originally: after seeing Zepp's big lifting machine we had them replace a somewhat damaged, ugly but serviceable cross beam while he had the machine there. <br />"
