"I found Act One Cleaning on Angie’s list. We decided to have our very dirty carpets cleaned on our new home rather than replace them hoping to stretch them out a year before replacing them. Steve made it clear from our initial phone call that he was not interested in up-selling and only interested in cleaning my carpets and ensuring that we had the best customer service experience possible in the process. Steve arrived on time and was extremely organized. He put up a plastic barrier on the front door so that heat wouldn’t escape while he worked and blankets under his equipment to protect our floors that weren’t carpeted. He used several techniques to remove stubborn stains and spent several hours throughly cleaning our carpets. I was thrilled with the results. The carpets look nearly new and there’s no need to be thinking of replacing them. Steve is a rarity in the service industry. He truly cares about getting great results and that you’re happy with the outcome. I will be hiring Steve to clean some upholstered furniture for me and he will be the only person I have clean my carpets. I highly recommend Act One and he does travel to Huntsville from Gadsden so don’t let the company address stop you from calling him."

"I needed a few areas cleaned and some traffic areas in other rooms cleaned as well as a stairway.  Carpet had been cleaned a couple of years ago and was still very clean except in these few areas.  Advanced had an Angie's List special and a schedule opening immediately as I needed it.  I negotiated to get the few traffic areas cleaned without cleaning the whole rooms and causing me to have an excessively large bill.  When technician arrived I discussed the areas with him to ensure the negotiation was reasonable.  He agreed and began work.  Very nice young man, friendly, and careful to put guards around corners so hose wouldn't damage my freshly painted walls, doors, and trim.  He immediately had problems with the brand new truck-mounted machine not generating the steam/hot water properly.  He called the owner who came right over and found a blown fuse.  A quick trip to the hardware store a mile away and they had everything working properly.  Did a great job except for one area where there were some small ground-in stains.  He had pre-treated these areas but the stains didn't come out and were visible the next day as the carpet dried.  I had some aerosol carpet cleaner that I sprayed and rubbed that got most of the stain out; followed up with dish detergent and scrubbing that got them out the rest of the way..  Gave a B mark for quality just because they didn't make a follow-up call to find out how things turned out.  Stuff happens, I would not mark down their score for their new equipment issues.  It didn't cause me any problem for additional time that day.  They called for support who immediately drove to my house and debugged and repaired the broken equipment.  Extra credit for going the extra mile to get my job done without needing to reschedule (which wold have been a problem). <br />"

"The AQM product did a great job of killing off the remaining Mold that was next to impossible to get to. It was in carpet, and under some cabinets. There is no longer any issues, and all the people in the Apartment are healthy again. Have also used a number of OdorXit Products in our aging parents house. We had to remove paneling and ceiling tile and spray the frame structure with the Mold killing product. Parents report that they are feeling better, and no longer notice the old / moldy smells. Have been very pleased with the product performance and the advice provided by OdorXit. I highly recommend these products."

They were very professional they did a good job they didn't linger, they didn't waste time they went over and above board they clean a couple spots that typically we wouldn't have thought of they recommended we do didn't charge any extra for them they just said you know these should be cleaned and if we could move this we could clean them you know they went over board to be helpful and to do a good job."

"He had 2 very nice, hard working men come out to do the work, he was on the job on and off answering any questions we had. He answered the phone when we called or texted a question <br /> They took out a lot of PVC of all sizes from under the house, it was a mess under there! Everything was cleaned up and hauled off. We are now waiting for the plumber to come and redo the plumbing so they can hook up the dehumidifier and plumb it out of the crawlspace. Every thing went well. <br /> We can't wait to have the dehumidifier on for a month or so, he said it would make our house dryer and smell better, I'll get back to you on that part. There is no mold under the crawl space."
