"They did pump out and cleaned the septic tank. I talked to Andrew yesterday evening and he called me in the morning and scheduled the pumping for morning 9am. The truck came on time. Very professional in service and pricing."

"There are not enough good things I can say about this company, from their plumbers to their customer service they are A++!I had a water purification whole home system installed by DOP, and one of the PVC pipe sections split open in the middle of the night inside my too full garage, I sent a message to our plumber very early in the morning when I realized and got an almost immediate response that he'd be here ASAP, he arrived before 7 to start fixing with a crew of 2 to help me take out all the things in the garage, clean and put them back. All throughout Eddie, my rep, was in touch with me sitting me they'd make things right, but I could not have imagined that they went as far as sending someone else a week later to help me move or take away any more things that I needed. This level of service is not one I see often, thank you Douglas Orr Plumbing!"

"To start, I found Hawaiian Tropic Pools through Angie's List after a moment of desperation because I was having problems with pool resurfacing. I needed a serious, qualified company to provide the best expertise to resolve my issue. I found around 4 companies, but none was available to come as soon as possible (immediately!), with the exception of Hawaiian Tropic Pools. When my husband and I met with Doug Colasanti we realized we had the right person for the job. After speaking to several people and comparing notes, Doug seemed to go above and beyond his call of duty, which gave us a piece of mind that we have found the right guy. We hired his services for his expertise and got all the materials from him. We are very impressed with the quality of work, accuracy in what we needed, professionalism, punctuality and available resources. He knew what needed to be done to correct mistakes, how to detect errors and how to prevent them. We got the manufacturers warranty information which was not provided to us by the other company. Pool resurfacing is a very expensive job, but after seeing what it entails, I would not recommend to go with the cheapest estimate, but to take into consideration the complexity of the job, and the financial risk if something goes wrong. We can say now that I will not make any other decision or pool job without consulting Doug. It was a pleasure dealing with him, none of the other companies responded so quickly and professional and he did. He now has some loyal customers!"

"This was probably the best service experience I've had in recent memory.  Reason: The tech, Jason, did an awesome job.  I stayed close to Jason as he did the job, not for lack of trust, I just wanted to see what I could learn.  He explained in detail what he was doing -- and why -- every step of the way.  He essentially gave me a mini education on AC drain line clogs.   Doesn't seem exciting, I know, but as I home owner I really appreciated it.  "OK, you see this?  This is a problem because of XY and Z, and the way we are gonna solve it now is to do 123 - and you can prevent it from happening again by doing ABC."  Terrific tech -- highly experienced, honest, friendly -- very cool guy.  Represented Coastal Comfort in the best light.  By the way - the ladies I spoke to in their dispatch office were also terrific - polite, professional, and crystal clear in how they communicated.    <br />  So what did Jason do that was so great?  Unclog my A/C's drain line.  Sounds like a simple job, but trust me there's a good amount of analysis and many steps in the repair.  First, my air handler is in the attic.  The air handler has a drip pan.  Under the air handler itself there is a second very large drip pan with a float switch.  The second pan was full of water (like 10 or more gallons!) and the float switch stopped the A/C to protect the ceiling from water overflowing the pan.  I tried last night to unclog it but it was impossible - I could not access the drain line w/o cutting pipes and I did not feel comfortable doing that in the attic with so much water.  Jason first tried suction from the outside, but that did not work - the clog was very stubborn.  He had to get a bottle of pressurized nitrogen, cut the drain line near the drip pan in the attic, and carefully let the pressure from the nitrogen build until it finally unclogged the line.  Then he had to drain the 10+ gallons of water in the large drip pan.  He also noticed that the drain line in the exterior of my home did not have a P-Trap.  The P-trap is a u-shape in the last bit of the drain pipe that is meant to keep water in that "u" and keep air from being suctioned upwards/inwards.  Jason took a couple of elbows and made a P-trap in 2 minutes.  It's hard to explain - but it's the little details at each step that impressed me.  I'm definitely calling Coastal Comfort on my next A/C service call, and I highly recommend them. <br />"

"I admit i'm a novice at this. So, when I tried tightening the hydrant faucets of my home but failed, I called up A to Z Statewide Plumbing to either repair of replace the entire faucet. They were the first to respond within a couple of minutes, arranged for a free estimate and was at my doorstep in less than 2 hours from my first message. It seemed that I screwed a different component and it was as simple as tightening a different part of the faucet. Took 2 seconds each. The person who came (Angel) was polite, helpful and knowledgeable. He did it without charge. Good experience so far with this company."

"The company was very responsive and had someone to my house immediately. The plumber was Angel, and he also called a water clean up guy to give me a quote. The hose to the sink was leaking and he quoted me $218 to replace it and told me it included parts (the hose). Rather than going to a plumbing supply place I recommended on South Beach, he checked a few hardware stores closer by and had trouble finding the right part. He finally did get the right part and fixed the problem. He arrived about 10:30am and was done before 2:00. However, even though he originally said the parts were included in the $218, he added $59.14 for the parts on the invoice. I asked to see the receipt for those parts because I doubted his integrity due to the fact that I was told parts were included. He didn't show me the receipt, and said that the parts were really like $35.00, but he had to go three places to get them an it was time consuming. He then said he would take it off and I did not have to pay it, but did not cross it off the receipt/bill, so it is not clear that I paid as agreed. Thus, the wok done was fine. However, I have had the same thing done before for much less money, and I did not like his attitude or trust that he is treating me fairly in the end. He had told me to sign for the work as if I was signing an estimate, before any work was done, and when I look more closely where I signed says "I acknowledge completion of the above described work, which has been done to my complete satisfaction." I am worried that the company is now going to bill me for the rest of the amount due on the bill - which was not the agreed on amount. While I would give the company another chance, but I would not like to use Angel. #3488"

"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Deerfield Beach, FL

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
