"Bats and Traps sent Justin out to take care of the mole problem in my backyard. Justin is a very personable and professional man. He calmed my many fears. He also made sure my dog wouldn't be harmed during this entire process of eliminating the mole issue. Bats and Traps stand behind their work, regardless of how many times they need to come out. I've told my neighbors and Bats and Traps will be called if there's any pest problems in my block. "

We are a family owned and operated, licensed and insured, pest control company offering high quality services for very suitable prices since May 2005. We take pride in offering excellent customer service and offering a program without binding you to a contract. If you are looking for a pest control company that puts you in the driver's seat you have come to the right place.

"They did not get rid of our wasp problem. Actually made it worse. Their method of application was a joke: The wasp nest was in wall of our second story master bedroom. They didnâ t use a ladder to get pesticide into outside hole to nest. Never came in house to spray into areas they were coming into our bedroom. I called and told them and expressed I was not happy and he defended his process and gave excuses. Wasted $200. Thought Angieâ s list would have reputable businesses. Will not use Angies list or this pest control again ."

For over 25 years, Roger Atchley’s career goal has been to provide the most effective pest management services at the most competitive prices possible. Unlike some “big label” operators, Atchley does only what’s really needed and in the most humane way. While chemical pesticides are sometimes necessary, he evaluates each assignment to determine whether other means like light, sound, barricades, heat or scent might work just as well.

Michigan Wildlife Solutions is a professional Wildlife control company and provide humane wildlife removal practices. We are a poison free company and specialize in poison free mice control. We are one of the only companies in Michigan with nearly 20 years of bat removal experience.

"I had service performed 7 days ago on March 30th to remove/prevent birds from entering my dryer vents. The service ended up being different (less) than what was initially estimated. I contacted Michigan Wildlife Solutions the same day for the difference as I had already paid half of the estimate to get started. I was told I would be contacted by the office manager. On Friday of the same week, I called back because I had not received the call from the office manager nor had I gotten a refund. At that time, I also noticed that my credit card had been charged for the balance of the original estimate even though a second payment had not been authorized. When I called Michigan Wildlife Solutions, I was told that the balance is automatically charged after the work is completed. This was totally inconsistent with the electronic invoice I received that indicated a pay by date for the balance. In fact, I also received a mailed invoice requesting the balance to be paid, not indicating that I was already charged for the balance. I waited until Wednesday (4/6) to call back as I wanted to be patient and allow the process to happen. However, after 5 business days, I still have not heard from the office manager who was supposed to be in touch a week ago. I called back on 4/8 because at this point, I am NOT getting the service and respect as a customer that I deserve. I was given the office manager’s direct phone number (the email communications give a different number that says is for the office manager). I called Brooke-the office manager and left a voicemail message. Three hours later, I have not received a call back so I called again and was sent to voicemail. As there are several other neighbors in my subdivision that have the same bird issue, I would NEVER use this business again nor would I EVER refer a neighbor to use Michigan Wildlife Solutions. If I do not hear back from someone by the end of the business day today, I will be contacting an attorney to get me the refund that I am entitled to for work that has not been completed because it was not needed."

FAQs for rodent pest control service projects in Durand, MI

Rodent exclusion seals every gap, vent, and crack that rodents use to sneak inside your home. Most homeowners pay an average of $200 to $600 for this add-on. By blocking entry points, you create a long-term barrier that cuts down on repeat infestations and helps protect both your family and your property.

Pros start with an inspection, then place tamper-resistant bait stations and traps in high-traffic spots. They’ll also seal entry points and clean droppings to reduce health risks. Follow-up visits confirm that the plan worked and that no new rodents have moved in. This step-by-step approach removes the current infestation and helps keep your home rodent-free going forward.

A trained pest-control pro can pinpoint hidden access points using a flashlight, thermal imaging, and plenty of crawl-space sleuthing. During an inspection, the specialist maps every gap, vent, or pipe run that rats use, then explains how to seal each one. This detailed report lets you tackle the weak spots immediately and dramatically lowers the odds of another infestation.

Rodent prevention starts with managing food and entry points. Store pantry items in airtight containers, take out trash promptly, and keep pet food sealed. Outside, trim vegetation and stack firewood away from the house. Inside, seal gaps with steel wool or hardware cloth. A tidy yard and a buttoned-up home give rats and mice few reasons—or routes—to move in.

For wall or attic nests, pros place snap traps or CO2-powered units in the exact runways rats use, then return to remove carcasses and reset as needed. Poison is risky indoors because rats may die in hidden spots, creating odors or health issues, so most technicians avoid it. Once trapping is complete, they’ll seal entry points and clean droppings to finish the job.

Plan on several weeks, especially for larger infestations. Your pro will set traps, return every few days to collect rats, and adjust placement until activity stops. Final visits include sealing access points and sanitizing affected areas. Timelines vary, but most homes are rat-free after two to four follow-ups. Prompt scheduling and good sanitation can shorten the process.
