He took photos of several trouble spots and showed them to me, explaining what each represented. His assessment and explanation of the cause of our roof leak was thorough. he also indicated the issue is less severe and less urgent than other companies had indicated. Jim explained other things to note about our roof, particularly its age and need for a replacement in a year or two. He offered to make the minor repairs to fix the small leak since the weather & roof had been dry for a couple weeks. Jim fixed the roof - temporarily, which he clearly explained - for under $100. His crew arrived to do my neighbor’s home, and a wind and rainstorm sprung up after they had begun the work. They did a great job keeping the old and new material under control, and made sure that the rain would not get through the partially applied roofing. The next day part of the crew arrived at our house and began working. Part of the crew was still working on the neighbor’s house, as well. Our roof was finished the following day, and the crew did a great job of cleaning up the roofing nails and other debris. Our pool and the pool cage had been protected during the work, and everything was in order after the roof was completed. John had explained how to contact an inspector who would complete a report for our insurance company.
