"This is a good company. Although they didn't specialize in cross-country moves, they did an exceptional job moving us from Michigan to Arizona. The owner came to the house for the initial walk-through for the estimate, then made himself available every time we called with questions or concerns prior to the move. We boxed up everything ourselves except the artwork and lamps/shades, which they packed for us. The crew showed up on time and worked diligently and quickly. The last things in the truck were our cars. Since we were the only family in the moving van, the price was somewhat higher than if we'd have shared the van. But our situation was such that we had to know precisely which day they would arrive. Even with our belongings being the only ones transported, their prices were still lower than the two other companies (one a large national company) we got estimates from. When they got to Arizona four days later, the crew chief made sure we knew a day ahead of time when to expect them. When the truck arrived at the house, they again worked diligently and quickly and were very patient about where we wanted things, even when we asked to have something moved a second time. Everything was in great shape with only minor damage to a couple items, so we had no need to utilize the extra insurance we bought for the trip. Based on the great experience we had with this company, we would highly recommend them."

"First, I want to compliment them on their flexibility.  We had some problems with the closing on our house and had to reschedule the move twice.  They were easy to work with and were able to meet our needs with the reschedule. I wasn't sure they could get all of our stuff into one truck, and was assured it would fit.
They always arrived on time. 
We were disappointed in the actual movers.  They were very young and there didn't seem to be anyone in charge.  They didn't seem to know how to drive the truck.  They ended up leaving the truck at the end of the drive and carrying our furniture through the weather.  They did not use the hand trucks, but instead carried one box at a time.  They did take good care of our furniture and nothing was scratched or damaged. They only thing in this area was dirt on the side of a mattress where they slide it across the bed of the truck.
During the unloading, they spent an unusual amount of time folding and stacking the moving blankets.  They moved very slowly and again, seemed to spend a lot of time talking at the truck rather than working.
We ended up having to have them back for another day to finish the move.  There was not enough room in the truck for all of our furniture, etc.
Maybe this is normal but if I have to do this again, I will look for another mover.
