"I was in a bind when the plumber moving the plumbing in my kitchen informed me he hadn't put in his bid to fill the hole he created in my floor back up with concrete. I called Joe as ASAP Concrete and he said he would fit me into his schedule the next day since I had tile guys coming later in the week to tile and it would put me behind schedule if I didn't get it filled. "<p>We recommend this contractor.</p> <p><strong>Background.</strong>  This was our first project since the construction of the house in 10 years.  We researched the options of wood and metal buildings.  The cost of each was about the same.  However, the metal building was a quicker and durable option. </p> <p><strong>Contractor Choice.</strong>  We chose the contractor due to the price, the interview with the owner, their website, and a testimonial; we visited a previous job site where they did a similar project.  In general, the owner was more responsive and professional than the other contractors.  The other companies seem less professional and some were just odd.  The local contractor business in our area is competitive but not cheap.  </p> <p><strong>Foundation. </strong> Overall, the survey, land clearing, and laying the A/B aggregate went well.  We chose to hire an additional contractor to clear more land to expedite their work and for other projects.  Foundation framing and cement work went according plan.  During this phase, we were very much involved with their work since we need to integrate our other requirements into the foundation.  We needed to run water and power conduits into the foundation before the pouring of the concrete.  In addition, we prepared a portion of the foundation to support an in ground carlift.  All these actions required us to coordinate closely with the construction team.  Though our special modifications may have been a deviation from their standard work, they were more than willing to work with us to accommodate each special request and let us do the portions of the work we intended to do ourselves.  In addition, we were welcome to ask questions and review the work daily to ensure that there were no misunderstandings or incorrect expectations.   We enjoyed working with both the owner Caleb and his site lead, Calvin.</p> <p><strong>Erection.  </strong>We elected to wait 30 days to begin the erection after the pouring of foundation.  The erection went without any major incident. Caleb's crew performed all of the work for this portion, and did so at remarkable speed.</p> <p><strong>Follow-up.  </strong>We required a follow up visit to fix one of the overhead roll up garage doors that came off its track.  The contractor responded within a reasonable time and completed the work without issue.<br /> Overall, we were very satisfied with the entire experience, from bid through construction to completion. We recommend you consider this vendor for your next construction project.</p> <br />"

"I wasn't happy with the job that Flatline Concrete Grinding had done on my living room floor. To my mind it didn't meet the flooring material's specifications (just not as flat as I thought necessary). Having the perfectionist's affliction, I decided to find a concrete grinding specialist who was not satisfied with "good enough". After some online research and customer review gathering, I ran across Adis Nuhanovic at Premier Concrete Resurfacing and invited him over for an audition and pricing. I thought, "this guy sees things the way I do". Moving forward, I went ahead and had him regrind the floor. It came out great this time. To all perfectionists or to anyone who demands the job be done correctly, I highly recommend Premier Concrete Grinding; they go the extra 10%. And a word to the wise: don't pay for the same job twice if you can avoid it. Have Adis do it and just pay once."

"I highly recommend JDS Improvements - for roofing or any other work. (I will be hiring him to do other work around my house later this year.) He removed the old roof and two skylights and replaced them. He coordinated with the HVAC company to remove and replace the roof air conditioner so I was without air conditioning for only a few hours, which, in Arizona is so needed in July! He repaired the inside walls/ceiling that had to be trimmed to accommodate the new skylights. Extremely professional, IMPECCABLE INTEGRITY, responsive, listened and answered all of my many many questions, and accommodated my special needs. His crews are very respectful and after the work was done they cleaned up all areas - inside and outside. When they had to work inside, they put paper on the floors to walk on, paper on the counters, and then put plastic around the skylight opening when they repaired that area. They cared for and respected my house as if it was theirs and left it clean with no trace they were even there. Nothing was too small - the attention to the details was welcoming. Having lived in Sedona for 10 years I have finally found a contractor who does what he says he is going to do, shows up when he says he is going to show up, and not only walks you through the process but also talks to you about possible complications/issues and offers multiple solutions. QUALITY WORK AT GOOD RATES. I know I will never hire any other contractor for any home project I have in the future!! I know that I will never have to worry that the job was done right - the first time!!!"

"Four Corners Concrete owner, Brad Meyers, gave an estimate in the beginning and the final job price did not exceed the estimate - wow! What a refreshing difference, working with a professional that not only knows what he's doing but is honest and personable. Staff worked efficiently and professionally, always positive and providing the response and help we needed all along the way. Work was completed on time and within budget and far exceeded our expectations for quality and appearance. They also designed and built a block retaining wall in back of the garage site. Beautiful! What great guys and a real treasure of a company."

"Tom Rubino is a professional drainage artist. I hired Tom not because he was the cheapest quote I had but because I had some major drainage problems in my back yard and I did not want a landscape company to put in a percolated drain pipe that would wear out in 5 years. Tom came up with a permanent solution that will last for 25 + years. I have a long patio that creates an "L" shape. Tom came up with the Idea to add channel drains to each side which would create not only a solution for the problem of flooding but be aesthetically satisfying as well. The channel drains on each side went through five 12 inch drains and each had a 50-gallon custom drain well with a submersible pump that went through my back yard fence and to the front yard on both sides. His work crew has been with him for 20 years and are professional in every way. They would show up on time and clean up each day. I may need future service from Landscape Drainage Solutions and will definitely use them again."

"We called Bob Brown's Arizona Foundation Solutions and had a great experience. Ryan Overcash inspected our home and did a very nice job of answering our questions and giving us advice on our options and the next step of getting our foundation checked out. Jeff Crider performed a topographical mapping of our foundation and did a great job as well. The mapping information was then analyzed by an onsite engineer and then Ryan Overcash came back out and explained the Report to us. We are very impressed with Bob Brown and his company and will definitely use him again if we have any issues with our foundation.
