"Travis, the owner, responded immediately to my email regarding their services. He came by within 24 hours to look at what I needed done and give me an idea of the cost. He did tell me they were quite busy, so it might be the middle of August before they could get to it. I liked him immediately and had a good feeling about him, so waiting a month wasn't an issue. Well, as it turned out, he called back on the 14th of July and said they could start that next Thurs or Fri. So Thurs came and he called and told me when they would be here and sure enough, all 3 of them showed up on time and ready to work. We went over what I needed again, and they got right to it, moving out my furniture from walls and helping me clean behind the dressers (I had just had a procedure on back and couldn't move anything heavy at all and they were great about it). So within 2 hours, they had all the walls painted. They said they would be back on Monday to finish up, and yep, they were back on Monday. They worked hard, finishing ceilings, and taking tape off. They also hung my new blinds, shower rod in bathroom, put new headboard on bed, and hung a cabinet in the bathroom. Travis, and his father Bill and employee Brendon have my vote! They were professional, extremely fast, and cleaned up well. They were punctual and professional. I now have a handyman that can do just about anything I need to have done and I have a long list of things I will call the back for in the future. No job is too small.
"

"Tim is just a really decent, straighforward and professional guy. It was a very pleasant experience to have him work on our home and to find a contractor that is respectful and honest. He's not the cheapest guy out there but I think our experience is a lesson in "you get what you pay for". He gave his informed and useful opinion on the stains that we considered using and was willing to research new materials without the attitude that many other experienced contractors seem to have. As women clients, we especially appreciated this professionalism and even disposition. His work was careful and thorough. He did not rush through the job but took the time to ensure it was done well. He cleaned up after himself and was careful not to spatter stain on our walkway and other landscaping, which is very important to us. This job was done over several weeks, both to accomodate our work schedule and to accomodate several personal and conflicting job schedules that occurred for Tim. We did not mind being flexible at all, but others who need a job done in a hurry should discuss scheduling requirements up front. Tim will get the work done. The work on the shed turned out to be more time-consuming than Tim thougt it was going to be and we adjusted the payment agreement. We did not feel that this was improper because we've painted that shed before and it does require a ton of detail work. It was also very dry and required an additional coat.
We would recommend Tim for painting and staining based our our experience of him and his work.

"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair. The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time.
Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot.
I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction.
WRS

"

"My old unlocked mailbox was beat up by vandals and left on the ground - broken and mis-shapened - and my mail missing! So, I looked up mailboxes in my community and found 'LOCKING MAILBOXES' in Paradise. The owner, James Richards, came out to my home that day to take a look. He then helped me choose the right secure locking curbside mailbox that fit my home and property needs. I bought the Columbia Mailbox with matching post which was $200 plus shipping and an additional installation cost of $50. It took just a few days and he was ready to install my mailbox - and what a difference it made! It improved the curb appeal of my home but more importantly, I felt protected from theft that my mail and packages will be secure, even if I go away for a few days. All the secure mailboxes are reasonably priced and crafted in the USA. Mr. Richards was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly! I would defiantly recommend LOCKING MAILBOXES! It was a pleasure doing business with him!"

"Mike and his crew performed painting of our full interior for our home outside of Riverton, this year we hired him to stain our cabin and paint the metal on our shop. They performed professionally and and did an excellent job with no problems, no errors! They fixed the runs and bad texture on our interior left by the previous "painters." We liked that Mike's crew wasn't inexperienced like we dealt with last time. Plus he was the only painter that answered the phone when we were calling for quotes. We've recommended to our friends and will use them again in the future!"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Gillette, WY

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
