Since the unit was almost 10 years old I was leaning toward replacing so I decided to use it until it failed.  It did actually fail completely a few days later so I called Advanced back.  Since I had the unit less than ten years, and I knew the compressor had a 10 year warranty Advanced helped me contact the manufacturer to determine if we were still in the warranty period.  The good news was that indeed we were covered for only through October and the cost of repairs to me was going to be about 1/3 what the original estimate was.  This was during the hottest part of the summer so Advanced ordered the compressor and tried to schedule the installation as soon as possible.  Everyone in the office and the technician were very helpful and professional and I was extremely pleased with their efforts to help get us cooled down!

I will definitely use them in the future when needed and I doubt I would ever use anyone else.  I highly recommend them!

"The two man install team were very professional and knew their tasks well.  Shortly after the team left a small leak developed and Shannon was back in less than 30 minutes.  It was discovered that my pressure reducing valve had failed and Shannon replaced in while he was there.  The PRV needed to be replaced whether or not I had purchased the Aqua Clear System.  Being a technician, I am happy to have the pressure guage which came with the system.  My eyes no longer burn in the shower (no chlorine) and I can drink ice water (I drink a lot of water) without adding flavoring.  The price was more than I was expecting but the system is well worth it.  The cost of the system will be recovered in lower cost for soaps, water flavoring, and damage to plumbing fixtures from hardness,
