"Install was on time and as described. '1st Response' did the job I expected for the water heater install. Good customer service for scheduling. Note that the Angie's list price of $799 only covers the installation of 50 gallon gas AO Smith hot water tank. Assuming you also do installation of new brass fittings, new flex lines and new expansion tank (which you should probably all do with the new water heater) it will cost an ADDITIONAL approx $500-600 (mostly labor costs). That's a competitive price but still, you should be aware that the original quote is just for the water tank install itself, nothing else. All-in-all they did a good job for a competitive price. A few months after the install, so far, I can say I would recommend them for this type of work."

"These guys were amazing! We had the plastic water intake valve behind the toilet burst and spray water everywhere at 4am. after cleaning up the mess we called Cahill's at about 6:45am and they arrived by 8:30am to fix the valve, which took them like 15 minutes. I asked them about doing all of the valves in the house (16 total) and they agreed to come back at noon to do all of them. At exactly noon they were back at my house and had all the valves changed out in less than 2 hours. They were friendly, clean, polite, and provided excellent customer service. Jason and Harry were the team that came to my house and I would highly recommend them. And thanks to Russell, the owner, for giving us a great deal on the work his team did. The only downside was the cost was more than quoted, so make sure to get an accurate quote by providing enough information, or expect to pay a little more than quoted."

"Worked with Deep to schedule the service. I have used Vortex to replace my sink faucet. Brian came out and replaced the garbage disposal. I purchased the special they had for installing and providing the garbage disposal. Brian did a great job."

"We requested a bid for installation of recessed kitchen lighting. What we got was an estimate for the cost of rewiring the knob-and-tube in our entire house, plus the cost of the fixtures. The rewiring alone was estimated over $18,000. Our home inspector informed us about knob-and-tube when we moved in, as well as the excellent condition of the wiring. Adding LED fixtures would have been a low draw on the system and we have since gotten a far better bid from another electrician. Our impression was that we were given a hard sell to spend almost $20,000 on a big project we did not ask for. There was no alternative solution offered. Additionally, the price quoted for the fixtures was very higher, higher than any I could find on a basic Internet search for the same fixtures, so big price gouging there on the materials. I am confident that these are skilled electricians, but as a homeowner and consumer, I felt that we were not heard and that the company, as represented by the initial contact with the lead electrician who seems to primarily be a salesman, is interested only in big-ticket jobs. If you need a big commercial project done, you may find Seatown to be your best choice. As a homeowner, I felt like the company's next prospective sale. We won't hire this company."

"The crew--Young, John, and Barry?showed up promptly at or before 7:30 a.m. every morning for four days.  They operated two pieces of large equipment to dig a 6-ft to 10-ft trench in my side and front yards.  They were very careful in a very small space, and they had to remove my fence, a rose vine, and a tall rhododendron bush.  They stopped to speak with me every morning when I left the house to keep me posted on their progress. 
They were very knowledgeable and skilled, motivated and enthusiastic, personable and articulate.  You could tell they cared about their work.  They tied the downspouts from my roof into the sewer and installed drains in my window wells to prevent flooding.  They also brought in top soil and grass seed when they finished, although landscaping services were excluded in the contract. 
They provided services that were not in the contract because they seem to approach the job with the perspective of providing the best value to the homeowner.  They provided services I did not request because I was not savvy enough to request them.  They were professionals; they had the knowledge, the access, and the skills, and they tried to help me avoid future problems with basement flooding and water damage to the foundation of my house. 
I highly recommend them!
Finally, when I called the owner back to thank him, Rick said they also would credit me on the invoice because they were did not have to go all the way to the curb.  They were able to tie into a sewer line I share with my neighbor."
