"The scope of this project changed. We did hire Borja Landscaping. We chose to bury 6 downspouts, clear backyard of debris and install new sod in entire backyard area, plant 2 trees and build a cinder block elevated planter 4 ft high by 15 ft long and cover with stone veneer, which I was required to purchase separately. Project was quoted at $8,400, minus the veneer, and written commitment was 4 days to complete. Project did not start on date committed, (no explanation), and took 13 business days (not counting weekends)...many commitments unfulfilled, many no-shows, no calls, I always had to track him down to find out why he wasn’t working on my project and got one excuse after another. Project is still not completed to my satisfaction, including sod that did not take and is completely dead after only one week, despite regular watering and failure to put drainage holes in planter as committed. He will not resolve these without further pay and won’t return calls. I selected this company to support a young, entrepreneur company. His team works HARD, when they are here, but Brian Borja lacks project management and basic communications skills. I am now forced to hire someone else to complete this project."
