"I needed to replace the wall lights on my landscaping walls because the screws were corroded and difficult to remove which was needed to take off the covers for bulb replacement. Tim gave me several options and I selected the one he recommended. He gave me a fair price and obtained wall lights for my landscaping that did not have any screws required for opening them to replace the led bulbs. Two technicians removed the old lights and installed the new ones. The techs were very friendly, polite, and hardworking. The job was started and completed on time. The results are beautiful. "We used CGS Electric once before several years ago and liked their work and reviews on Angie's List, so we had Claudio come back for this job. As always, he was easy to schedule for an appointment and arrived promptly.  We had purchased two new ceiling fans and he installed them for us. One replaced an old fan that wasn't working properly and the other replaced an overhead ceiling light. Both look great now and Claudio programmed the remote controls for us and showed us how to use them.  Likewise on the outdoor lighting, he replaced two non-functioning lights with new ones that we had purchased.   <br /> We were very happy with the installations and plan to have CGS come back in the near future to install another ceiling fan in a room where there is currently no electrical box in the ceiling..  CGS also can install phone jacks, cable wiriing, etc. and we plan to use those services in the future. I would recommend them to friends. <br />"

"I called to set up an appointment for redesigning our backyard.  He came to our house at the scheduled time exactly.  He is a remarkably kind and gentle person.  My wife and I had a general idea of what we wanted, but we were pretty flexible and open to new ideas.  After an initial conversation about what we were looking for, he went to the backyard and spent a while back there.  Afterwards, he came inside and went over the entire plan with us with drawn out plans.  He designed the entire project with a lot of detail, with some great ideas, both big and small, that we never would have though of ourselves.  The amount of detail he gave was incredible given the amount of time he spent on it (a total of 3 hours).  He even laid out where to put specific plants, landscape lights, etc.  He gave input on colors and styles.  Looking at the final product, now that it is completed, it looks better than we ever imagined it would.  We've gotten a lot of great comments, including one saying how well thought out the project was.  A lot of that credit goes to Andy. <br />"

"Roman, the owner, showed up right on time. His two man work crew was right behind him. They planned the lay-out of the lighting fixtures and got right to work. Roman gave us some expert advice on installing the remote control as opposed to a wall switch. His advice really helped us make a decision and we went with the remote control unit in the ceiling fan. The crew was very professional and helped move all of the furniture in and out of the living room. They laid down a huge drop cloth that covered the whole floor. They completed the job in a very timely manner and left our house neat and clean. We will definitely contact Roman again at Advanced Electric in Simi Valley, CA for future electrical work. P.S. his prices are more than fair."

"The electrician arrived a bit early, and was fast, clean, and efficient doing the installations. He cleaned up after himself, and showed me how to replace the light bulbs in the new light fixtures. The finished work looks great. This is a very old house and he really respected the spirit of the place (which hasn't always been the case with workmen here.) I am so happy with this job and I am definitely keeping their business card."
