"I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. I am pretty pleased with their service because there is a lot of grass growing where he did his work. My brother looked at the way he put top soil next to the house and decided the top soil was too high so I had to take it down a level; I had to re-do part of it. But the part that he did is growing grass and I think he did quite a bit of work for the amount of money I gave him; I am not unhappy with that one. I am not sure he knows what kind of seed he used because the first time I asked him what seed he used he told me one brand and then I asked him again at another time and he told me another brand. The reason I asked is because I wanted to buy the grass seed, but was out of town. My yard looks a little funny where he planted the new grass but it may be okay. I thought his pricing was very reasonable. He was nice and tried to please but I am just not sure how much he knows about landscaping. I told him their were some junky plants in my yard that I did not care about and that he did not have to move but there was one Clematis I did care about. I came back from my trip and the junky plants had been re-planted in my front yard and the Clematis was gone. He had not understood my directions. I also wanted him to fill in a hole next to my house that was causing poor drainage with heavy fill dirt. When I came home from my trip and looked, it was filled with pieces of rock and brick; which is exactly the opposite of what I asked him to do. He came back and fixed that. I don't know what times he worked. I sent him several email complaining about this and that and I think that he remained professional in his answers to me."
