"I called Elektron Electric on the advice of one of my friends and I'm glad that I did. My friends tell me that I'm a tough customer who is hard to please, but I couldn't be any happier with the job done for me by Elektron Electric. The job was to install a Tesla Wall Connector which is not rocket science, but there are a lot of details that need to be considered before doing the job. Rodrigo Moreno showed up on time and provided me with a detailed estimate after spending a considerable amount of time examining my electrical service as well as doing an electrical load analysis to ensure that my existing service was adequate for the increased load. I had a few other estimates where they didn't examine my existing service and panel configuration nor did they even mention a load analysis. I was expecting a higher estimate, but I was happy to be wrong! My appointment a few days later came off without a hitch. The electrician, Amaral, and his assistant, Gabriel, showed up on time and did an excellent job. Besides the quality of work, I really appreciated their willingness to accept my input and discuss what I wanted. They even took the time to explain to me why some of my ideas were not all that great. After all, THEY are the electricians! I have already begun making a list of jobs for them to do in my house. I have also recommended them to a few of my friends. If you need electrical work done, I would not hesitate to call them. You won't be disappointed."

"The entire staff at Elcon Electric is courteous, dependable, and professional. When we moved into a new home they hung kitchen and dining room lighting fixtures for us and installed LED high hat lights in the living room and the master bedroom. They were prompt, showing up exactly when they said they would, and the areas where they worked were spotless when they left. After Hurricane Irma we did not have electricity in parts of the kitchen, but did in other parts. They scheduled an appointment within days and took care of the problem. (It was a defective breaker.) This past week the electrician that has worked in our home after the hurricane, J.J., helped troubleshoot and solve an electrical problem we were having with some outdoor lighting. J.J. explained things to us in a manner that we could understand. We are totally pleased with Elcon's quality of the work, the capability and knowledge of the staff, and the fairness of the charges. They exceeded our expectations."

"This is a top-quality electrical contractor. They responded within an hour to my call. I had water in my circuit breaker panel, the main breaker was tripping, and wires were burning. The cause of water intrusion was substandard work by AAA Modern Air when they replaced my roof A/C allowing rainwater to enter the junction boxes on the roof and flood into my breaker panel inside my home. GARAY repaired and sealed the roof j-boxes, replaced the incorrect conduit and fitting that AAA Modern Air installed- material not meant for use in outdoor electrical applications. How this crap work by AAA Modern Air passed the Hollywood code electrical inspection is concerning. GARAY replaced a burned circuit breaker and burned wiring. I picked this company at random, and they exceeded my expectations for quality of work, work ethic, and they are customer centered, and great guys. They are also an Air Conditioning Service company, a great combination of competencies. GARAY is a Broward County licensed contractor. Their rates are incredible, meaning not typical for our region of South Florida. My requirements were for emergency work, I need you now! What qualifies me to write this honest review. I am a retired engineer from a Florida electric utility, but too old now to climb ladders and crawl attics. I thank Home Advisor for listing this company."

"First, Top Dog Electric, was responsive (which is more than can be said for some of the other electrical firms I contacted through Angie's List). Also, they use a system that keeps you updated with alerts to confirm the appointment and status in route as well as follow up with a satisfaction survey. Everything was electronic including receiving the invoice immediately. From an efficiency standpoint, they excel, which benefits anyone with a busy schedule. Second, the pricing was absolutely fair in comparison. The fees were explained thoroughly so that any layman could understand the work that was being performed and at what cost. Christopher is an electrician master. It's obvious that he enjoys his work and he's good at it. He provided pros/cons of choices and provided recommendations (without any prompting) that will help me in the long run. Almost wish there was more electrical work to be done at my home because it was a great experience. Call them first, there's no point in calling another. Even if they are busy, better to wait for an appointment as you won't be disappointed."

Considering he had to drill through a concrete ceiling (among other difficult tasks), the amount he charged was definitely reasonable for the amount of work, and still much lower than another estimate I had gotten from someone else. I will definitely use this company again for other projects and I highly recommend them to others."
