"George originally quoted me $850. I explained that was too much and just asked for him for a price for the 2 doors, he said $150. But he really wanted to do the job. He then went down to $650 and I declined then he went to $450. I accepted the quoted price. Then he tried to go up to$500. I said no. We agreed upon $450. And I asked for that in writing. He didn't have pen/paper so I had him text him. He sad he'd come@9:00 he came at 10:30. It was him and another guy. I asked that that put on booties because I just had my floors cleaned. They didn't want to and said they would just work in their socks. He kept going outside without shoes on and dragging firt on my floor. His worker parched up the walls upstairs while he did nothing. I asked him to start painting my door because it was going to rain. He told me to relax. He eventually told meds that he would have to come back and painting because the spackle wasn't dry. Even though he did he had fast drying spackle.(He originally said this job would take one day) He got sparkle all over my floor and when I told him about it, he tried to clean it to with a dirty red cloth which turned my carpet red. He got black paint on my floors from the door paint. I told him that I had plastic and he didn't use it. He didn't do 2 coats on the door. There are drip spots on the door. He put my door know back on wrong. And I had to argue with him about that. And my mail box won't open properly now. When he was done. I have him $150 for the doors and $100 for the hallway. And u said that i would find him the rest when he came back and painted. He kept pressuring me to give him $200 more after we agreed upon the$450. I felt really uncomfortable with 2 strange men in my house and he kept pressuring me for more money. I had to call my brother and her gave him the money and he left. The next day he was supposed to come between 9-10. I texted him at 10:30 and she's if he was still coming to finish the job. He called me back and did that i need to pay $100 to paint. Again I explained that's not what we agreed. He eventually said he would come but he didn't come until 12. He destroyed my bathroom upstairs. There was dust everywhere. Even though he said that he was going to cover all of the doors upstairs. They use my bathroom and didn't flush the toilet which was DISGUSTING. He missed spots on the wall. And he used the wrong paint. He painted my upstairs hallway hallway gray when it was supposed to be white. I told him which paint to use. And he didn't do it. All he did was sit on his phone and FaceTime some woman. The other guy did all of the work. I was so frustrated. He was unprofessional, tardy, he didn't clean up after himself. He messed up my floors. I just wanted him to leave. I didn't feel comfortable with them in my house after he kept telling me to give him more money. I have him the$200 that I owed him. I would not recommend him and I think Angi should really do a better job at finishing people to work for them. He is not a good representative of you organization."

"They put a roof on my house which immediately leaked and had several areas of poor workmanship. It was brought to the owners attention numerous times. When they finally came out to look at the issues it was discovered my attic was filled with mold from the active leaks from their poor roof job. I had several engineers, roofing companies, insulation companies, as well as mold remediation companies state it was caused by the roof. The ridge vent was illegally done, stretched shingles etc and was not done up to code. They stated they would be back to remediate the mold months ago and have never showed back to take care of it. On the contract it stated if a subcontractor was used to install the roof they would be noted on the contract. They subcontracted this roof and did not have it noted on the contract. This is breach of contract they also did a roof for a friend of mine and subcontracted it out and did not mention it in contract. Another breach of contract This roof also has several issues that need to be addressed from poor workmanship. It is a shame it has come to this but I have given you chance after chance to make things right. I have documentation for everything to prove their poor work as well as breach of contract. This should have been claimed in your insurance policy for repairs. Make On Call your last call is what their slogan should be. Spend your money with someone that stands behind their work. Not these guys; sorry John, you had your chance. This is not the end. This is the beginning."

"I would probably give them four stars overall but since this is a review for a specific job of installing a gas stove I'm just giving two stars. They did the job but this is the second time now where they refused to do the job unless they were also able to replace the gas cock which is the valve behind the stove which supplies it with gas. It's totally unnecessary to do this but it allows them to double their price. So they charged me a total of $720 just for that. I would expect $300 or less for a simple quick job like this. I will not call them for this type of job again."
