"The work went very well. We've used other tree services previously and they did good work. What distinguished Limbwalker from the others we used was their arboriculture knowledge and landscape aesthetic. We worked with Stephan Zimmerman to determine the scope of work, with his expertise leading the way. The removal and pruning crew, Dave, King and Mikey, were efficient, careful, professional and personable. The second crew that removed the stumps was equally professional and efficient. Both crews left the areas in which they worked clean and in good shape."

"If I could give a zero I would, I paid a years worth of appointments in advance, they came out once they are to small not enough people working. The guy told us to text him when we seen a nest (wasp yellow jackets bees) my husband is deathly allergic so I thought paying in advance would give me great service. The guy always had an excuse why he couldn’t make it. We canceled our service and going elsewhere. Don’t pay up front it can take 6 weeks to get your money well I’m at 6 week still no payment they are a fraud!"

"I purchase brown recluse spider service from Terminix in Louisville, KY. I gave them one complete year for their service to take effect. After one full year of service with multiple additional service calls I have finally decided to try a competitor. The Terminix service technician said that additional spraying would likely not help the problem so it really made no sense to continue on. The spider issue not only did not get better but actually got worse both in my garage where it started and more spiders in my home. Here is some photographic evidence: [*** Link removed ***] Terminix has said they are sorry the spider problem did not get better, but kept 90% of the $1,315 that was spent on the service for the year."

"Here is a copy of my termination letter of their services: Dear Trugreen, Please cancel all of my Truegreen Services, Lawn and Insect. I recently submitted a complaint for substandard Lawn service on your internet site and also left a phone message at the local branch for *********, General Manager, asking if he could take a look at my lawn and discuss with him the condition. I didn’t receive any communication from him or the local office. This leads me to believe that there is a bigger failure at the local office than just the lawn techs doing a substandard service. So in summary, with the ongoing condition of my lawn after 1 year of Trugreen Lawn service, lack of leadership and customer service from the local office I am requesting cancellation immediately of all Trugreen services."

"Mark and Karen were very professional and thorough. They encouraged me and my wife to be present and part of the inspection process. They answered all of our questions to the best of their ability and gave us contact information of other reliable professionals to answer the questions they weren't qualified to. It was an absolute bonus that Mark and Karen are two of the nicest people we've ever met."

FAQs for rodent pest control service projects in Louisville, KY

Rodent exclusion seals every gap, vent, and crack that rodents use to sneak inside your home. Most homeowners pay an average of $200 to $600 for this add-on. By blocking entry points, you create a long-term barrier that cuts down on repeat infestations and helps protect both your family and your property.

Pros start with an inspection, then place tamper-resistant bait stations and traps in high-traffic spots. They’ll also seal entry points and clean droppings to reduce health risks. Follow-up visits confirm that the plan worked and that no new rodents have moved in. This step-by-step approach removes the current infestation and helps keep your home rodent-free going forward.

A trained pest-control pro can pinpoint hidden access points using a flashlight, thermal imaging, and plenty of crawl-space sleuthing. During an inspection, the specialist maps every gap, vent, or pipe run that rats use, then explains how to seal each one. This detailed report lets you tackle the weak spots immediately and dramatically lowers the odds of another infestation.

Rodent prevention starts with managing food and entry points. Store pantry items in airtight containers, take out trash promptly, and keep pet food sealed. Outside, trim vegetation and stack firewood away from the house. Inside, seal gaps with steel wool or hardware cloth. A tidy yard and a buttoned-up home give rats and mice few reasons—or routes—to move in.

For wall or attic nests, pros place snap traps or CO2-powered units in the exact runways rats use, then return to remove carcasses and reset as needed. Poison is risky indoors because rats may die in hidden spots, creating odors or health issues, so most technicians avoid it. Once trapping is complete, they’ll seal entry points and clean droppings to finish the job.

Plan on several weeks, especially for larger infestations. Your pro will set traps, return every few days to collect rats, and adjust placement until activity stops. Final visits include sealing access points and sanitizing affected areas. Timelines vary, but most homes are rat-free after two to four follow-ups. Prompt scheduling and good sanitation can shorten the process.
