I was impressed by Bob's very thorough assessment of my house and grounds for not just evidence of activity, but even the possibility of rodent access, from the attic to underneath the sunroom addition. He took the time to listen to what I'd been witnessing and shared his knowledge and experience. He gave me a bid which he honored when I hired him. Bob was available within a couple of days, which was important to me. He arrived promptly and worked efficiently and effectively, patiently and professionally explaining as he went. On a freezing day, he took the necessary time to block all access points around and under the house before tackling the inside. He was on task, informative and personable for the entire job, not leaving until he was certain I was happy and satisfied with his work. I could not have asked for a better experience."

"As a renter in the apartment that has been serviced twice now, I am extremely disappointed in the service provided by Yankee Pest Control. They have done nothing besides place traps down (which we had already purchased of similar type ourselves). The pest problem has not improved at all, if anything, it has gotten worse. The first visit, the employee entered the apartment without a mask on in the midst of this pandemic. The second visit, the employee detached a dishwasher hose without notifying us and left it that way. The kitchen and cabinet under the sink then flooded our floors with our use of the dishwasher before we noticed and were able to return things to their correct place. We will not be recommending this service to any others we know with rodent issues in the city, and we believe our landlord should be refunded for the additional trouble and lack of relief this company has brought us."

"Rutland may be good at some things, but did not seem to have the knowledge or techniques to control rats, especially when the rats had moved inside for the winter. They were unable or unwilling to find where the rodents were entering the home, and missed at least two entry points. After waiting 3 weeks with zero results to show for the money we'd spent, I hired another company. They proposed a clear plan that explained the course of their treatment, which has followed their time-line. Rats are hard to eliminate once they get inside a home. But nothing Rutland did would have eliminated them. In fact, because they did nothing to seal the home, we could have been feeding new animals forever. A lot of wasted time, anxiety, and money. "
