"Great job! Nino Rendon and Jesse built a retaining wall to keep my yard from eroding down an arroyo, and then added an extra terrace to reinforce the retainer. Without my asking, completed some extra repairs in and out the house. Very agreeable, flexible, and conscientious! Highly recommended!"

"They did a great job, start to finish. They were on time, prepared, professional and friendly. All done for a great price. I can't remember ever having a better experience with contractors. And I look forward to using them for some future projects I have in mind."

"These guys know what they are doing. They are fast and efficient and very professional. They are painting my house inside and out and they do what you want without any kind of arguments or problems. I would highly recommend Juan and Chris for any and all painting projects. They have been a positive and exciting experience on top of a very stressful and frustrating whole home remodeling project. They have become two of my newest and most trustworthy friends. I have truly been blessed by hiring these two brothers. They also have family members who do roofing and electrical etc and they have provided me with reliable and affordable pros for everything I have needed done. You can’t choose better guys because these guys are the best all the way around!"

I’ve been working on my own home for 4 years on and off remodeling both bathrooms and the kitchen from the floor joists to the ceiling! I have also done other similar projects in the past 10 years. I live in Levelland currently but I work in most of the surrounding cities including Lubbock, Littlefield, and Wolfforth. My expertise is sheetrock and painting, and I can also do just about any other handyman job. Communication is very important to me and I put high attention on detail. The more we can communicate about your project the better! I look forward to working with you

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Lubbock, TX

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
