"I hired Others Electric to install an electrical outlet and to wall mount new TV. They arrived a bit early, worked methodology and collaboratively with me about exactly where to install. The results are perfect, no complaints, even cleaned up afterwards. I only had to do a bit of wall repairs but was understood before hand. They finished early so I had them troubleshoot and repair electrical problem with outside porch fan. I would hire them again."

"This is the second time in a few years to have used In Phaze. Quick to respond, quote and very professional and courteous/informative. Used In Phaze as well due to competitive/reasonable pricing for the job we needed. Didn’t use local electrician whose cost was 100% more. I would highly recommend In Phaze. Great communication as well."

"The experience overall was great. Had them change out a breaker and move some around in the breaker panel to make more room for an EV charger. Over $240, not too bad. Of course they did not relabel any of the work they did on the panel though, so the inspector comes by and fails us because they did not relabel the breakers where they had moved or added. So we had to reschedule the inspector to come again which cost $400 and a whole day of work since the inspectors pick a day and can show up anytime between 8-5 for 10 seconds."

"Robles Electrical Services did an amazing job on our electrical panel upgrade. They were professional, on time, and explained everything clearly from start to finish. The work was clean, efficient, and done with great attention to detail. They made sure everything was safe, up to code, and working perfectly before leaving. It’s hard to find honest and reliable electricians, but they definitely exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Robles Electrical Services for anyone needing electrical work done!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Melbourne, FL

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
