"I highly recommend W.T Anderson for any roofing need for the follow reason. The five member roofing crew arrived early Monday morning and began to go to work. The on-sight supervisor introduced herself and provided me with her phone in case I had questions or concerns. Every team member was assigned a task and worked efficiently with little wasted effort. The team remained focus on the job at hand even when the sight supervisor was not present (which was not often or long). The company’s owner made sure to visit the sight throughout the day. His enthusiasm and positivity for the job was mirrored by all at the job sight. The job consisted of removal of 2 layers of shingles, remove and re-install 3 Solar Tubes, replace 3 vent covers (2 bathroom and 1 kitchen), installed 3 Easy Sleeve pipe flashing (a product I recommend, made by a local Virginia company), replacing of 11 sheets of roof sheathing (a lot of water damage during the 30+ years since the first layer was installed, not surprised), installed Weather Watch leak barrier along eaves, rakes, around chimney and all roof penetrations, install underlayment and finally the shingles. I was expecting the job to take 2 days (especially after the water damage was found). However, the job was done in one day and the dumpster was picked up the next day. I cannot express how impressed I am with the thoroughness with which the clean-up was done. I climbed on the roof and inspected the work I was quite pleased with the overall job. I did find one discrepancy (one of the Easy Sleeves was installed incorrectly). Once the company was informed the owner can out the next day to see for himself. He tried to fix it right then and there, but was unable to. The next day the crew was out to remove and replace (with new material) the Easy Sleeve. I am absolutely happy that I chose W.T Anderson for my roofing project. Although their quote was not the lowest, the combination of good reviews and the positive impression I had after the owner’s visit to formulate a bid was central in the selection (I had four roofing quotes). They were very responsive during the whole process (bid, work and follow up) and I would highly recommend them."

I purchased an Angie's deal for $ 349.00 for a tiled backsplash for a kitchen or tile a bathroom floor up to 40 sq. ft. Deal was suppose to include all labor & supplies. I chose to have a small kitchen backsplash tiled. First of all, Alex and his assistant were very professional and punctual. He contacted me right away with photos of past jobs and when he first appeared to see what needed to be done, he wore booties and used drop cloths so as not to damage the floors. Big plus! The work date was performed as stated and performed in one day! Another big plus!

The only negative comment I had was that when I told Alex what I needed to be done, he stated that he had run out of the tiles that the deal offered, so they would install a tile of my preference at no additional cost. I understood that any decorative tile or trim would be additional.  Alex recommended a 6x6 tile which I felt was too large for the area so I chose a simple 4x4 tile that I had to purchase myself and he said he would reimburse me for. Alex quoted 30 sq. ft but the job actually was 23 sq ft. Not a problem, since I could return the left over tiles for a credit from the store. But when Alex reimbursed me for the tiles purchased, I was disappointed that he only reimbursed me for $21. I found it hard to believe that one decorative tile installed and which I purchased, and 2 trim tiles installed could cost a difference of $40.00.

Overall, I was pleased with the quality of the work performed and the quality of the backsplash. Especially due to the fact, that day was one of the coldest on record and much of the tile cutting was performed outside!

Would I use A-Z Creative contractors again, Yes but maybe not buy a Angie's deal that states it includes supplies.

"I contacted Home Advisors on 17 June 2020 requesting the name of a trusted roofing contractor that could provide us with a free estimate for a roof repair or a roof replacement. They provided United Roofing Corporation. Nathan Statz, from United Roofing Corporation, called us and arranged a convenient time to inspect our situation. Prior to Nathan arriving on site I had compiled a list of four or five areas that I considered most needed his specific inspection and indicated those to Nathan. Nathan said he would send me a contract for both a repair or a roof replacement. We opted for a repair of the four areas specified and he would have us placed on their schedule. Over the next few days, we changed our minds and decided rather than the repair of the roof we decided to select the roof replacement. I sent Nathan an email asking if it would be possible to cancel the repair and select the contract for the roof replacement. His company indicated to us they were willing to accept a contract modification without any legal ramifications. A date of 21 July 2020 was selected as the start date and to be completed within one or two days. On 21 July 2020 at 0620L (AM), their crew arrived and rang my doorbell asking if they were at the correct address that needed a roof replacement. Within ten minutes they were on our roof removing the existing roof shingles. After just over two hours they had revealed all of the roof decking and identified the water damaged, broken and split 1â x 6â boards that needed to be replaced. I was invited to climb-up and view what they were starting to replace. There were four to seven areas that probably took another hour or just over to complete the wood replacement. They cleaned the roof and started placing new paper and new shingles. The crew cleaned up around the house and removed any nails and old shingles that had fallen from the house because of their working. The replacement went smooth and I was satisfied with the completed job. I would recommend United Roofing Corporation to anyone that would require their professional services. It is my sincere belief that anyone hiring United Roofing Corporation will likewise be very satisfied, as we have been, with their service, workmanship, abilities, attitude and professionalism. "Tom, the estimator, was fully knowledgeable of roofing products in helping us to decide the best long-term replacement product. In addition, the company replaced four French doors which Tom also provided in-depth information in selection of a high quality door. Lenny, the door installer and his helper, did a professional door installation including expert handling of molding replacement and weather proof sealing which had not been done on the original doors.
