"Disappointed with service, but looks ok.  Completed job in time noted.  When I spoke to gentleman for a quote, John, stated they would evaluate base material then determine if gravel would be needed.  Apparently it didn't in their opinion.  However, what I saw was a lot of sand and round stones as an old base that to me should have been removed/replaced.  It tracked in my garage and house for about four weeks.  Two neighbors using different contractors right now have had old asphalt removed and gravel bases put down. <br>  I think it was a very poor choice to not lay gravel down and probably an expense I paid for, but didn't receive.  Also, I found that a shrub next to the driveway was burnt, don't know if it will survive.   <br>  This contractor also removed a pay loader bucket of lawn on the left side of the driveway for water drainage purposes and left it just a dirt spot.  I had to call John and inquire about it.  He said they don't do landscaping, but would deliver some topsoil and seed.  I got the topsoil.  "

After digging he showed me all the broken mortar that caused the water leaks. He corrected the problem, added drainage and water proofed the walls. <br> <br>He then installed the brand new patio with Cambridge pavers. He installed the patio and added an ornate border which looked amazing. We never asked him to do this! <br> <br>Marcos and his crew are hard working and professional. after the job was complete, they cleaned up, reseeded the lawn and removed the demolition material. <br> <br>I highly recommend them. "I could not be happier with my choice. Shawn was professional, friendly, and knowlegable from first contact. He was not the cheapest nor the most expensive estimate I received to complete the work. His quote included more than the cheaper and more expensive estimates I had received. Once hired he began immediately and removed the trees from the house in the first day. It took a little time to complete the job but his concern was the ruin of a lawn in pristine condition. He waited for the ground to dry before starting the portion of the work that required heavy equipment. The lot is also on a very steep downward angle . I feel that he completed the job in a timely manner considering that the weather continued to work against him. Upon finishing he left the property in excellent condition. He removed the 7 foot diameter root ball as well so one would never know the wreck it all had been . The only tell tale sign is where he graded, seeded, and fertilized the portion on the yard where the trees had fallen and gouged the ground."
