"I was extremely pleased with the repair work that David and his team at Builders of America performed in order to take care of a leak in my roof. There was torrential rain on Sunday January 27th 2019, and a leak developed in the ceiling of the master bedroom. At 9 am on Monday morning I called two of the largest roof repair companies listed in the Angie’s List monthly publication, and in both cases got their voicemail, left messages, and didn’t receive call backs from either company until late Monday afternoon. I decided to try one more call, and that’s when I called Builders of America. David answered the phone immediately (no voicemail) and said he would come over between 11:30 and 1 pm to look at the roof and assess the situation. He was at my house right on the dot at 11:30, and had a helper on the roof while he went into the attic to see where the leak was coming from. David took multiple photos for me to look at, showed me where the leak was coming from, and gave me an estimate for what the repairs would cost. I thought the estimate was fair and gave him the go-ahead. The best part was that David and his crew showed up the next day and did an excellent job repairing the roof. David documented each step of the repairs with photos that he texted me showing their progress. I was very impressed with the work that was performed, with David, and with his team, and am happy to recommend David and Builders of America without reservation."

I found Luis at Bentley Roofing as a referral from a friend. Luis was extremely thorough and answered all of my questions. The turnaround time from the inspection, estimate and repairs were within days. He showed me pictures of the work that needed to be done and explained how it would be done. He also showed me and explained what didn’t need to be done based on what the other roofer told me. "Having never hired a roofer before, I thought the process could be overwhelming. It was a pleasure to find out my fears were unfounded and a pleasure to work with DGA roofing, especially Josh. I had many questions to ask so I could understand what was needed to replace my roof and though all four contractors I originally interviewed for the job answered my questions, Josh went the extra mile to explain things in detail. He provided information and answers to questions I didn?t even think to ask. The whole process was very professional. They were punctual and let us know the timeframe of when the job could be completed.  They kept us informed throughout the whole process.  From ordering shingles to installation to the final cleanup. To prevent any damage from debris falling from the roof, they carefully covered or moved things out of the way. Throughout the whole day the workers cleaning up around the house, keeping everything looking good. When completed, they went around several times with magnets to collect any nails that might have fallen into the grass. They followed up by coming out again to make sure they didn?t miss any nails or debris. The whole process went very smoothly. "Charlie has looked at my roof several times before Hurricane Season, so it would be affirmed that the roof was in good shape in case of a leak. When the "time came", he took a minute and showed me the problems now arising and where the leaks would occur. The flat roof has been replaced and one less major fear. for the hurricane season. He was reasonable, kind, and took time explaining the additional expenses on using an insulation roof material vs just the normal material. Thanks to Charlie's investigating the amount of additional money it would cost for a 2-degree temperature difference was going to be a waste of valuable money. Thank you, Charlie and crew.
