Small jobs welcome

"JJ Sousa is my trusted mason for any all indoor/outdoor work. They can do so much more than just masonry as well! Recently they came up with a great design for a 40â granite outdoor staircase and a large outdoor patio with natural earth stones. They also solved a lot of drainage/flooding issues I was having! I highly recommend them for your next job. They go above and beyond for their customers!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Mr. Dolloff was prompt in his response to our inquiry into landscaping projects we were considering. He gave us a free estimate on several projects. The cost seemed very fair and we had him complete a quarter of the entire project ~ grooming a hillside with severe erosion and creating a parking area for 2 cars. The hillside is beautiful. Exactly what we wanted and better than we expected. The parking area was not what I would call satisfactory. But in all honesty, they completed both jobs on time but unfortunately it was just the day before we got all that heavy rain the weekend of October 21st. We are planning for him to complete the other landscaping we need down and he offered to clean up the parking area as soon as the weather settles down."

"These guys are amazing! Came out for an estimate on I called them on a Wednesday, they came out for an estimate Thursday, and fixed our driveway Friday (itâ s November, so clearly not their busy season, but still). They did a great job fixing and repairing some spots that we had to have cut throughâ they leveled them perfectly and did a great job. They were also just super nice people. Will hire them again when we are ready to redo the whole driveway!"

"Carl Campbell and his team have been AWESOME to work with! Highly recommend them for anyone considering hardscape projects. I started with a rough idea of using concrete pavers as a driveway, and Carl designed and installed an outstanding driveway and patio that incorporated a variety of retaining walls, steps, and outdoor lighting. His creativity and outstanding customer service were both exemplary, and I have never worked with a more responsive contractor. I have additional plans for the future and will definitely be using Carl and his team for them."

"Joe and Joe did Great Work. The work was completed as proposed and on time. Two days after the job was finished we had a rain storm. Joe contacted me to follow up and make sure the work was still good after the storm! Professional, great communication and estimates and billing was done efficiently with their QuickBooks program. I would use again and would gladly recommend Up Top Home."

"Kris and Bob made a master piece for a walkway and stairs using materials we have wanted to display for many years. They were prompt and extremeely curtious of my landscaped areas. Available to answer any questions or concerns regardless of time of day or night. They are both exceptionally creative and go way above and beyond our expectations so much that we would be honored to have them come back to do several other projects for us."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Plymouth, NH

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
