"My project was to add a porch to the front of my antique house. I quoted the job out to 3 builders and found the prices all to be similar. Although Fiske Construction was very slightly higher I was impressed with the professionalism of the quote and Mike�s understanding of what I was looking for. I showed him a couple of pictures of the style I wanted and he immediately picked up the details that gave the look I wanted. Mike arranged for the permits and began work as soon as they were set. Mike�s work ethic is far better than many these days, he showed up early and worked hard all day, every day. I never felt that my job wasn�t his top priority. I added a couple of features during the construction , Mike gave me a very fair price on the additional work and arranged for the materials required. Mike is more than just a builder, he is a Craftsman. The fit, finish, and quality of the porch is top notch. I have had neighbors and strangers compliment me on what a beautiful porch and how it looks like it has always been there. It�s not an easy task to add to a house built in the early 1800�s and match the quality of workmanship and style for that period but Mike and his team nailed it, I could not be happier or ask for a single change for the entire project. If I need any building projects in the future I will definitely have Fiske Contruction do the work. These days with some pretty questionable contractors out there Mike Fiske is a shining star and a safe bet for any project you may be"

Dave only worked with professionals, the electrician, plumber and tile installers were phenomenal. Dave was excellent at communicating, when he was going to be at the house, what I needed to order and when, even demo day started early! He was very patient with my last minute design changes and always answered my questions. He was also very careful to cover the floors and rugs to keep the mess down and even cleaned up when the job was finished. I have enclosed some pictures of the finished job, I love the Shiplap accent walls. "
