"I called HomeX. Oscar arrived on Monday morning (on time). I asked if he would come in and take a look at the two drains affected by the stoppage. He did. I then asked if he had a wire long enough to reach through the branch to the main. He did. They has a special running for $68.00. He ran the wire through the line. The drain was cleared. Read on... Prior to calling HomeX I had called another firm. They came and attempted to clean the branch drain but failed to do so. They recommended hydrojetting and quoted a price of $1800.00. They "came down" to $1200.00 but based an past experience I was uncomfortable with the quote and the result of the initial work. By the way... I held a Journeymans plumbing license in the state of Massachusetts for quite a while and worked in the trades for 8 years. HomeX is a company that can be trusted and I would recommend them to anyone in need of this kind of service work."

"I called to get what we thought was a drain cleared on a Saturday late afternoon. Tony had his Super Super, Jay, at our house Sunday morning but could not clear it so we scheduled a camera for Monday. Monday his crew arrived and we discovered that roots had overtaken the mainline which meant very limited service until the roots were removed but we had also had a pipe liner installed a few years back that complicated things. Jay was able trench out the old clay pipes, replace them, marry the new to the lined pipe and replace the old cast iron in 2 days. We were thankful to be able to do dishes, laundry and of course use the shower and bathroom. Excellent emergency service for what turned into a major intrusion. Highly recommended."

The scope of work included: New Drains Under the Home: They hand-dug to remove the old cast iron main sewer pipe and drains for two bathrooms, the kitchen, and laundry. They replaced everything with new ABS piping, ensuring proper slope and sizing, and pressure-tested the entire system. New Angle Stop and Supply Line: They installed a new quarter-turn angle stop and 20â supply line for the toilet, replacing the old system. New Water Lines and Pressure Regulator: They removed the existing horizontal water lines and installed new PEX water lines under the house, along with a shut-off ball valve, pressure regulator, pressure relief valve, and hose bib.
