"Roman, the owner, showed up right on time. His two man work crew was right behind him. They planned the lay-out of the lighting fixtures and got right to work. Roman gave us some expert advice on installing the remote control as opposed to a wall switch. His advice really helped us make a decision and we went with the remote control unit in the ceiling fan. The crew was very professional and helped move all of the furniture in and out of the living room. They laid down a huge drop cloth that covered the whole floor. They completed the job in a very timely manner and left our house neat and clean. We will definitely contact Roman again at Advanced Electric in Simi Valley, CA for future electrical work. "We moved into our home over the summer. In a corner of the back yard, we have a fish pond that was installed by the previous owners. While my husband was doing yard work behind the pond, he sliced the electrical cord to the pump which runs the waterfall feature.  I called around to several electrical companies looking for someone to come out and see if they could repair or replace the electrical cord.  I was told by several other companies I would have to wait several days before appointments were available.  Since the pond is stocked with about 20 fish, it was important to us to resolve this quickly. <br /> City Lights Electric responded to my message on Angie's List about repairing/ replacing the electrical cord to the pump of our fish pond within an hour.  We scheduled the service the next morning. Anthony arrived at the appointed time and performed the service quickly.  He answered all my husband's questions regarding the repair as well as giving some additional  information regarding an outlet that keeps tripping to the refrigerator in our garage due to the Christmas lights we have on the same circuit.  We plan on having the outlet replaced by Anthony after the holidays. "<p>Tommy's crew of 3 performed the job, not Tommy.  </p> <p>The ceiling fan installation and electrical went pretty smooth. Stevie worked very hard to make the light fixture level with the Hunter fan that I had purchased. The master bath exhaust fan also went well. The main bathroom had some issues. When drilling inside the wall for electrical the bit hit a firewall and jumped which caused an unforeseen hole in the wall. Tommy was great and agreed to have the hole/drywall repaired by one of the crew guys as well as matching the paint, as the past owner didn't leave paint for touch ups. </p> <p>The hole for the exhaust fan was cut a little too large causing a gap  between the fan housing and the attic so insulation started falling through. I did ask about this and I was told it wouldn't be a problem. My friend and I added flashing around the fan housing to correct the situation.</p> <p>Tip: Tell them Up Front if you want the instructions/warranty or leftover items from the boxes that the fixtures come in, as well as your original fixtures.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <p>Clean up could have been better.</p> <br />"

"Sunshine builders planned and designed our outdoor living space and executed it after we approved all the changed and modifications so it will fit exactly to what we wanted to have. At first, we honestly didn’t think that we can get all what we wanted under our budget because it was just too many things in one project. The project that we wanted to do, included a 2 levels patio with space for full BBQ with dining area, sink, refrigerator, counter top and a large stone fire pit with seating area. More than that, we added some plantings spots by building a plats pots, a new grass area, LED solar lighting fixtures, a new driveway and more things. We’ve met and interviewed many contractors and home improvement companies and landscapers over the last few months and none of them was able to compete to Eric’s experience, quality and promise to ensure their work with our expectations. Each one of them had something that caused us to move to the next one in our list and when we met with Eric, we felt that this is the right person for us and for our project.
