I needed to install these gas lines a couple of days before my flooring project started and I could not get any one on yelp or other places to perform the installation in such a small amount of time. Jesus came over to inspect everything, went to the crawl space and mapped out all the plumbing in a matter of minutes and he was ready to start on the project the very next day. He assured me that he will finish the three installations in one day and he did keep his word. He will sweat it out when it comes to work and the work was spotless. "Can not imagine a better response, starting with my call for assistance, response time and how the technician, Tad methodically diagnosed the problem. We have an obscure kitchen fixture that required service in Feb 2019. Under warranty the problem was easily diagnosed by me, a problem possibly caused by me and a replacement part sent and installed by Albert Nahman team. Problem: I broke the faucet cartridge. Current Problem: restricted hot water flow in this kitchen sink only. Turns out the new cartridge part is now malfunctioning. I called and Tad arrived taking a step by step approach ruling out possible causes: a clog here or there, build up of sediment, or blockage in the lines or cartridge. The company that sells the product got on the phone with Tad and they collaborated on the problem and the tech person gave Tad one more thing to try. After the collaboration it is agreed, problem persisted and therefore that new cartridge part is now malfunctioning and will be shipped free of charge in two days. Thanks to all, who made this possible and I trust we will have Tad here again soon to finalize this fix. BTW, cost of service was less than expected given going rates for such a call lasting in excess of one hour. Another comment, spending time with Tad during the repair was a pleasure to have him explain, collaborate, listen and just chat. Questions on who to call next time, no question who I will call next time. I have read criticism of costs: In the Berkeley area "How much does it cost to hire a plumber? Some plumbers have a minimum fee for a service call. They might charge anywhere from $175-250 to come out and give you a consultation. Plumbers may give you a general service rate of $128-148 per hour when there are a lot of unknowns about a project and they aren't sure how long it will take. Some charge a flat rate for their plumbing services. For example, you may get charged $175 for a sink or drain cleaning, while toilet installation costs $500." Today costs are upfront, same as charges in Feb, $69 to arrive and assess the problem. Here in excess of one hour for $129 minus $25 coupon, total charge $173. I am ok and I expected these costs. If I was in Philly, where I grew up, I could call an uncle or cousin and get a better rate, a family rate. This is going rate for our area."

"Sergio and his team came to our rescue after we had our water heater shut off by PG&E for a safety issue. We received a detailed estimate after a thorough evaluation. Sergio provided us a range of options and patiently answered all our questions. We decided to also fix other issues we'd been considering and we were provided with a fair estimate for completing all the work at once. We agreed to also install a pressure regulating valve and a home filtration system. The Tankless Guys team was punctual on the day we began the work. They did the best they could to minimize disruptions, letting us know when we would have a water interruption and returning it as soon as possible. I was impressed by their professionalism, communication throughout the project, and attention to detail. They took their time to clean up the area they were working on at the end of the day, covering potential hazards and marking them off, and organizing the space to begin the next day. The team did uncover a couple of issues in our older home, which caused the project to take a little longer. They did not cut corners - Sergio, Daniel and Ray took their time to fix the issues so the installations could be installed properly and up to code, and to avoid other problems in the future. We are thrilled with the quality of the work, the attention to detail, and the peace of mind that our home is safe again. It was a pleasure to work with the Tankless Guys! I'm sure we will call them again for our next plumbing project."

"Had a cracked undermount bathroom sink that needed replacement, which isn't really something either contractors or plumbers typically deal with. Luckily (and surprisingly) Mike Counsil Plumbing listed this service on their website, and they confirmed this over the phone. Called on a Mon. morning...very polite and helpful, scheduled earliest available appt. Wed. morning. Arrived within stated appt. window, and provided work estimate; separate pro came shortly thereafter to start actual work. Proved to be a difficult job to carefully remove old sink without damaging granite or wood countertops, but the pro did a great job. Although we furnished the replacement sink, the pro had to take a trip to the local hardware store to get additional undersink mounts - something we didn't anticipate. Once installed, it became clear that the new sink basin drain was closer to the back wall; so, to salvage the existing pipe, he took an additional trip to the hardware store to get an uncommon short pipe adapter, which he didn't stock on his van. Still ended up having to cut the pipe stub down to fit the drain and P-trap, but we appreciated the willingness to solve the problem - solve all of the problems that popped up, as everyones setup is slightly different. So, the pro ended taking several hours to get it all done, and the labor charge as you might imagine was costly...but fair. But the end result was a new, leak-free bathroom sink, as if nothing had ever happened. And, as a busy person who values their time, it was well worth it. I never noticed their green vans around town before, but I do now - Mike Counsil Plumbing services are clearly in demand, and it's obvious why."
