"I thought it went well but took longer than I expected. Mechanic Leo bought the new tank and pipes in when he arrived. I believed Leo arrived around 7:30 pm. He completed the installation around 11:30.pm Leo went out to his truck, stayed outside for a long time, in fact, my son Vann went out to ask him what was taking so long. When he came back in, Leo told me there would be an extra $100.00 We explained that we had been quoted a price of $1,300.00.. so he said to call the i office and they would straighten everything out, That’s why I called the next day. Everything seemed okay. When I notice the water was much slower, I called to let J&S know. The person asked me a few questions and advised me to check the faucets. Well, that didn’t work and the water was not as hot as before the installation. I called again to explain to J & S what was happening. The person there told me that they didn’t have to come out, and I still owed them $100.. so that's why I called Angi So I decided to check all of the faucets and I realized that the water flow was not coming out properly from any of the faucets So this is what happened. I am just appalled that they haven’t come out or called as of this date. I need them to come out and check this out, something went wrong. We could do a FaceTime inspection that would show the flow of the water."

"When temperatures dropped to -50 with wind chill, the pipes to our basement bathroom sink froze. And as soon as everything began to thaw, (on Friday night) we found that we had a ruptured hot water pipe. Water was shooting out of the wall all over the bathroom. When it became clear that our usual plumber wasn't going to show up on Saturday, I frantically called half-a-dozen plumbers from Angie's List. Only Charlie got back to me and agreed to show up after his next job. We had our water working in under an hour (on a Saturday evening!) and he charged a very fair price given the demands upon his time. He left our house at 5pm, his phone blowing up from other customers. I asked if he was going to have an end to the day soon, but he said he still had hours to go...he had promised other worried homeowners that he would help them today. "Mattco has been performing repairs and regular plumbing maintenance at my 116 year old Chicago 2-flat for many years. "Week before last we thought we had a clogged toilet.. It was apparently the main sewer line. We called a commercial franchise plumber out and $550 later we thought everything was fixed. This was on a Thursday. By the following Monday we were experiencing the same thing. We call them back out because it was a 6 month warranty. They diagnosed the issue stating we needed to get the main sewer line ( about 1-3 feet) replaced and they would need to dig a huge hole in the basement and etc.. Estimate was more than a small car. I called around to a few other companies and got more expensive quotes. I called A1 Patrick's Plumbing & Sewer Services - Plumbing Contractor & Plumbing Installation and he came out the same night ( last tuesday) and gave me a resonable quote for the same services. When I tell you I am so glad I called this man. My house is 70 years old and my family has lived here for 26 years. This sewer line was CLOGGED... his team dug the hole, replaced the pipes, cleaned them out and discovered tree roots and 4 feet of stuff that shall not be named. He & his team installed a cleanout in case this happened again we wouldn't have an issue getting it cleaned. This company hands down had excellent service and the owner was respectful, nice and delivered what he promised plus a 10 year warranty ."

"After buying a water heater at Menards and getting it home, I called Plumb-it Inc about 1:30 p.m on a Monday. I think it was Scott who answered (no recorder!) and he said he could have 2 guys out to our house within 45 minutes to install it. The job went so smooth. They did arrive within 45 minutes. The 2 guys were very knowledgeable about installing a heater. They were efficient, quiet, polite and cleaned up afterwards. They also took the old heater and the box the new heater came in. What more could we ask for? They did everything we expected."
