"Install was on time and as described. '1st Response' did the job I expected for the water heater install. Good customer service for scheduling. Note that the Angie's list price of $799 only covers the installation of 50 gallon gas AO Smith hot water tank. Assuming you also do installation of new brass fittings, new flex lines and new expansion tank (which you should probably all do with the new water heater) it will cost an ADDITIONAL approx $500-600 (mostly labor costs). That's a competitive price but still, you should be aware that the original quote is just for the water tank install itself, nothing else. All-in-all they did a good job for a competitive price. A few months after the install, so far, I can say I would recommend them for this type of work."

I noticed I was expecting him to arrive late or not at all. When I noticed that, I decided to expect him to be on time. He showed up on time, was a very nice man, did the job quickly and in a professional manner and THEN he lowered the price because my plumbing was updated, the area was clean and ready for him to work and it was an easy job for him. Now HE is a plumber I can recommend!
