"Jim first gave us an estimate of the work to be done (leaking old roof, new roof needed ridge vents, porch needed new ceiling, flat roof needed coating) - his quote was in the high-middle range of those we got and he gave us an itemized quote for each of the part of the project. We liked his approach and openness to us and the project. He came in and just got busy, did a great and thorough job. Everything looks great and we haven't had a leaking problem since. "Michael Scheinfield came when he said he would and did a preliminary appraisal. The price was considerably less than the other bid I had received plus it was a removal of old shingles where the other contractor wanted to apply new shingles over the old. They removed old shingles and found some rot so had to replace some of the plywood which added to the bid but was very reasonable. A very favorable experience and now I don't dread the rain.....porch doesn't leak at all! Will use the contractor again if I ever need it."
