The following day he brought the new contract. Work was originally scheduled for 2 days out but he had an opening and was able to start and complete the project the following day. I appreciate that he said he could use the existing hardware, and did so . To me, this displayed integrity; he did not add unnecessary components just to make more money. There was a misunderstanding of the type/grade of wood to be used. A more detailed and comprehensive proposal/contract may have eliminated this. Ultimately, Jim and I did come to an acceptable agreement."
