"The process went quickly with detail showed in every step of the process. We asked and hoped that the raising would not cause the opposite end of the sidewalk to be raised above the point where it meets the driveway. There was no guarantee it would be that way, but they worked hard to make it level and safe.  For the sidewalk to be raised 2", we didn't want a stumble step to be created and be 2" above the driveway. They were able to raise it and leave a pitch so the water would drain properly and both ends of the sidewalk were right on. <br /> This process creates an huge mess. They cleaned everything and even filled the part of the garden next to the sidewalk with some black dirt. They were prepared to handle everything and make it right. <br />"

"We are very happy with the results of the exterior waterproofing Drew and his crew performed. Drew was the only contractor willing to try to accomplish the waterproofing task by preventing the water intrusion rather than dealing with the water once it was inside the foundation. They removed a 12" by 20 ft section of concrete driveway along the house, excavated a trench to the front yard and installed a "french" style drain along with rock and plastic lining. They also regraded along the front of the house using the same method and connected to the drain line. The entire thing terminates in a rock filled underground pit. It has been eight months since the work was completed and there has been no water intrusion from the fall through the spring. The entire crew was very professional. They took care to not cause any more lawn damage than absolutely necessary and cleaned the driveway almost completely. We were realistic knowing not every spec of dirt would come off without some rain, but they left almost nothing when they left. We will be calling Drew for at least one more project that we are confident will be performed with absolute perfection."

"Very well. The company has been around for 60 years and it's a seasoned, likeable, salty crew that really knows their craft. The owner stopped by and completed a bid which was substantially less than 3 others. It was a tricky job requiring supports, adhering to specs from a structural engineer and lightweight concrete. They completed the job in a timely fashion as promised. Randy is an owner who is straightforward and you're not dealing with a polished salesperson. If you want to be stroked he's not a great fit but if you want quality work at a very reasonable price I highly recommend Norsk."

"We had to pester them to set up a time since husband was deploying and we wanted the job done as soon as the frost was gone. Once we set up a time, they were punctual and worked hard, getting everything done in one day. At the end of the day, there was a storm coming and they left the concrete uncovered. We got golf-ball-sized hail and there were marks left in the concrete sidewalk; the patio was fine as it had already hardened enough. I spoke with a friend who has done concrete work and was told that it is customary to cover the concrete with plywood overnight, especially if there is a storm coming - they did not do this. We discussed this with them and decided it was not worth them coming back out and replacing the entire sidewalk and also not worth pursuing this with insurance - we just wanted the job to be done. However, when cutting the patio later (for frost cracking), the ground wire was cut. We discussed this with them also and they sent out an electrician at their cost to replace the ground wire. Overall, the quote was right on and pricing was competitive, and they were open to working with us on these problems."

"<br /> <br /> We got the bid from Redstone again even though we already know they do a great job from last experience with them 1.5 years ago(we had a massive renovation-kitchen, bathroom, mudroom, office, guest bedroom, sunroom and a deck) They came much lower than the other reputable company apple to apple. Bob gave us every price we were curious about. What if we do this, what if we that. He never make us feel like we are being too difficult even though I knew we were when we asked him to ask 4 of the closet makers to price walk in closet in 4 different way(all melamine, melamine+ wood, all wood and melamine structure without the drawer systems). He was very professional in every step of the process and make sure that we get what we really want. Once the project started going Dan was making sure that every sub contractor was doing the best they could do and make sure we were satisfied every day during the renovation. <br />  Here is the things we did in each rooms-bathroom- maple cabinet with soft close for everything, Travertine tiles, Emporador dark marble,  glass accent tiles,  Granite countertop and Heated floor, and frameless glass shower. Closet- maple shelving system with back , maple drawers  with soft close for everything, baseboard . Bedroom- We raised the ceiling a foot to make it feel more spacious. We added large crown molding and rope light  Ceiling stereo system throughout the master suite-bedroom, closet and the bathroom. <br />  I won't change a single thing from our master suite. We are so happy with our new master suite. It?s really nice to meet someone and actually build a relationship you can trust on and pass on that relationship to someone else.
