"If you want stucco or plaster work done in Portland, there is only one person to hire and that is Louis. He is a true craftsman in the old school tradition of home builders and contractors. For our home, we had issues with stucco that was applied by another contractor which resulted in water coming into the home. From the moment Louis looked at our home, we knew he was the person to do the job. Louis and his team were phenomenal. They did everything right and consistently went above and beyond to do it right. We had two walls replaced, but they resurface the entire home. He repealed every window and re-did all the flashing around the home. He repaired serious defects and cracks in the original as well. The result is absolutely stunning. The home is completely sealed and "new" but it looks like it's 95 years old. And his small attention to detail with molding around the windows and a "bell band" made the home stand out in ways that we never imagined. Louis is not the least expensive, but he is probably one of only two people in Portland who knows how to do stucco right. We will hire Louis again and again, for interior work on our NE Portland home. And on top of all that, he is one of the nicest gentlemen you could meet. They offered a more sensible approach to our project and provided exactly the service they proposed. The work entailed creating a new access point for the sewer line (removing and later replacing a 2.5’ x 7.5’ foot concrete section in driveway) removing a portion of the parkstrip by the city sewer connection and replacing with topsoil and grass seed and replacing 65’ of sewer line."

"<strong>Subject: </strong>Angie's list <br /> <br /> Because we were concerned about the safety of our garage floor, we did some research and found out that the expert to call is an engineering consultant. I then went to Angie's List and read all the reviews. Seismic Technologies stood out with the most and the best reviews.  I called and   made an appointment in less than a week .  The engineer's name was Jay Kushner.  Jay  was wonderful!  He took his fancy tools and his many years of experience and did a thorough inspection.  He listened patiently about our concerns of possible compromise of our garage floor. He  examined a crack in the floor and  explained that it  was due to a tree outside. He used a laser and measured the floor and said it was rising rather than falling.  He checked the foundation surrounding the garage and found no structural damage to the foundation. He advised us to do nothing and assured us that the floor would continue to be structurally sound.  He even sat around the kitchen table after and once again answered all of our questions and concerns.  We found him to be a very pleasant,  honest and trustworthy person. <br /> <br />  <br /> <br />Obviously, Seismic Technologies was more focused on the scientific evaluation than on trying to drum up foundation work. Jays' experience and credentials were excellent as was the quality of his work. We recommend Seismic Technologies.   The money we paid was well worth it.
