"I bought my house a few years ago. When I purchased the house, I was told that there is a sprinkler system, but that it does not work. It seemed to me at the time to be a luxury I could live without, so I never did anything with the system. This year I decided it might be a good idea to have the sprinkler system looked at. I thought it would be nice to have, if it wouldn't cost me too much to have it repaired. Jamie from JS Services contacted me immediately, and asked me some questions about the system in general. I was able to answer some of the questions, but having never used the system myself, some questions I could not answer. No problem. Jamie explained that he was just trying to get an idea of what might be going on, so he could give me a ball-park number of how much I could expect the repairs to cost. After some further discussion, we agreed to a cap the cost, meaning that I was willing to spend $X to have the system inspected and possibly repaired, depending on what was needed. Jamie assured me that only what was necessary would be accomplished. JS Services then came out at the appointed time (right on time, I might add) and began working on the system. Some valves and heads were replaced, a new timer installed, and we were back in business. The cost came in well under the cap limit we had set as well. Jamie is truly a man of his word. "We met with Jim in March and went over our needs for a yard that includes wet/dry zones and was having new flower beds installed in the spring. Jim presented a great plan and was open to suggestions which included changing the zones in the far back from vertical to horizontal. He explained his process of doing spring openings first before he did new installs. The spring of 2019 was a record setting wet spring so our project was delayed until July. Jim stayed in contact and was able to accommodate us as his first residential install for 2019. He showed up as promised with a crew ready to work and finished the job in the 3-day time frame. He was able to creatively work through challenges so the system meets our needs. I LOVE having the entire system controlled from an app on my phone. The app is intuitive and it is easy to create multiple schedules involving a variety of zones - some are grass and others are flower beds. The system is flexible and additional heads can be installed as we add more plants to our landscaping. We also have a rain monitor that works in conjunction with the local NWS reporting station. Jim and his crew are professional, easy to work with and nice to dogs who need a break outside during the day. I highly recommend Jim and his crew!"
